Roundup: Marcos Plata makes 12 saves in Sunrise Mountain’s shutout

Marcos Plata made 12 saves in net Friday to help Sunrise Mountain’s boys soccer team to a 2-0 road victory over Cimarron-Memorial.

Bryan Martinez scored two first-half goals for the Miners.

Bonanza 5, Clark 1 — At Clark, the Bengals scored five goals in the second half as they cruised past the Chargers.

Bonanza’s Jonas Bryant and Guillermo Mungia each scored two goals, and Saul Martinez scored one.

Tesfu Mebretom scored the lone goal for the Chargers.

Durango 6, Shadow Ridge 1 — At Durango, William Hailu had a hat trick and an assist as the Trailblazers ran away from the Mustangs.

Tyson Tesfamariam had two goals and three assists for the Trailblazers, and Jaime Muguia scored.

Peter Jankowski scored Shadow Ridge’s goal.

SLAM Academy 5, Innovations International 3 — at SLAM Academy, Julian Catalan and Sammy Goodloe each scored twice as the Bulls beat the Ambassadors.

Eduardo Carrillo added a goal for SLAM Academy.
