Roundup: Daniel Barajas’ game-winner lifts Del Sol

Daniel Barajas scored the game-winning goal in the second half Thursday to give Del Sol’s boys soccer team a 2-1 home victory over Virgin Valley.

Del Sol’s Sergio Calderon also scored a goal, and Jose Moreno-Mendez and Oscar Morales-Casimiro each had an assist.

Angel DeSantiago scored the lone goal for the Bulldogs.

Spring Valley 3, Arbor View 3 — At Arbor View, the Grizzlies scored twice in the second half to force a tie with the Aggies.

Bum Cho, John Goecje and Cysco Martinez had the Grizzlies’ goals.

Ricardo Carrera, Josiah Gallardo and Francisco Milans scored for the Aggies.

Coronado 3, Foothill 1 — At Foothill, Alfredo Diaz had two goals and two assists to power the Cougars over the Falcons.

John Lynam also scored for the Cougars.

Colton Cook had Foothill’s goal.

Bishop Gorman 6, Sierra Vista 1 — At Gorman, Corrigan Neville scored twice to lift the Gaels over the Mountain Lions.

Aidan Yamachika had a goal and an assist for the Gaels, and Devun Beristain, Hayden Madsen and James Brooks all scored.

Daniel Perez scored on a penalty kick for the Mountain Lions.

Liberty 7, Silverado 3 — At Liberty, Ben Stang had a hat trick and two assists as the Patriots outslugged the Skyhawks.

Hayden Prasad had two goals and two assists for the Patriots, Alex Perez had a goal and an assist, and Quinn Rankin had a goal.

Frank Rodriz scored twice for the Skyhawks, and Alex Perez had a goal and an assist.

Adelson School 11, The Meadows 0 — At Adelson School, Alex Sefia had four goals, and Dylan Soresman added two goals and two assists to help the Lions rout the Mustangs.

Ben Elharrar, Tal Derei, Steven Blinder, Liddor Bega each added a goal for Adelson School, which led 10-0 at halftime.

Madison Bahel and Ethan Friedman combined on the shutout.
