Roundup: Centennial wins tiebreaker, holds off Spring Valley

Centennial’s girls tennis team won a tiebreaker 4-2 en route to a 10-9 home win over Spring Valley on Friday.
The doubles teams of Hannah Robinson and Lainey Waldman, Talia Williams and Ashlee Weger, and Sara Altfas and Chelsea Wadron all went 3-0 for the Bulldogs.
All three Spring Valley singles players went 3-0.
Desert Oasis 11, Shadow Ridge 7 — At Shadow Ridge, Natalia Damien went 3-0 in singles to lead the Diamondbacks past the Mustangs.
The doubles team of Stephanie Parlade and Hailee Valandingham also finished 3-0 for Desert Oasis.
Caitlyn Covington was 2-1 in singles, and Alexia Cassman and Rachel Gadeski were 2-1 in doubles for Shadow Ridge.
Sierra Vista 14, Legacy 4 — At Sierra Vista, Ariana and Andrada Stanciu each finished 3-0 in singles as the Mountain Lions rolled past the Longhorns.
Sharon Louie was 2-1 in singles, and the doubles teams of Aubree Smidt and Bryce Ellis, and Taylore Edwards and Jessica Schneider each finished 2-1 for Sierra Vista.
Legacy’s Apoorva Chauhan and Alba Bjerkan finished 3-0 in doubles.
Valley 14, Rancho 3 — At Valley, the doubles team of Alexandra Angelov and Catarina Guedes-Almeida finished 2-0 to lift the Vikings over the Rams.
Green Valley 12, Canyon Springs 0 — At Green Valley, the Gators defeated the Pioneers by forfeit.
Eldorado vs. Liberty — At Liberty, the match was postponed due to weather.
Moapa Valley vs. Boulder City — At Boulder City, the match was postponed due to weather.
Basic vs. Las Vegas — At Las Vegas High, the match was postponed due to weather.
Del Sol vs. Chaparral — At Chaparral, the match was postponed due to weather.
Tech vs. Virgin Valley — At Mesquite, the match was postponed due to weather.
Clark vs. Faith Lutheran — At Faith Lutheran, the match was postponed due to weather.
