Outlook: Few teams will be as youthful as the Pirates this season.
“We have a very young team this year made up of mostly first-year runners,” Humes said. “They have a lot of learning to do, but could prove to be a force to be reckoned with. Time will tell if they have the mental toughness to be great, but great is certainly a possibility.”
