Coronado completes perfect weekend to win Gator Classic
Coronado’s volleyball team won two matches Saturday to complete the weekend 6-0 and win the Gator Classic at Green Valley.
Coronado defeated Green Valley 25-23, 25-21 and defeated Sierra Vista 25-21, 25-8.
Durango’s only loss was to Coronado, and the Trailblazers went 4-1 to finish second in the tournament. They defeated South Delta (Canada) 25-17, 25-14 Saturday, and Arbor View 22-25, 25-21, 25-19.
Arbor View beat Green Valley 25-14, 25-9. Green Valley beat South Delta 20-25, 25-21, 25-22, and Sierra Vista defeated South Delta 25-16, 25-15.
Arbor View placed third, followed by Sierra Vista, Green Valley and South Delta.
