Roundup: Bonanza girls edge Sierra Vista on tiebreaker

Bonanza’s Kelsey Spence and Carla LaRosa went 3-0 in doubles, and the Bengals won the tiebreaker 4-2 to edge visiting Sierra Vista in girls tennis on Tuesday.

Madi Cherry was 2-1 in singles for Bonanza.

Andrada Stanciu was 3-0 in singles to lead Sierra Vista.

Palo Verde 11, Clark 7 — At Palo Verde, Kaya Richardson was 2-0 in singles as the Panthers defeated the Chargers.

Defending Class 4A state singles champ Audrey Boch-Collins went 3-0 to pace Clark.

Spring Valley 11, Durango 7 — At Spring Valley, Nicole Attallah and Seda Sargsyan each went 2-1 in singles to help the Grizzlies get past the Trailblazers.

Alexa Rojas and Mandy Lu went 2-1 in doubles for Spring Valley.

Averiana Mitchell was 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Maddie Concannon and Maggie Concannon went 3-0 for Durango.

Foothill 12, Basic 6 — At Foothill, Isabelle Hanon was 3-0 in singles as the Falcons defeated the Wolves.

Emma Grant and Katelyn Woodworth finished 3-0 in doubles for Foothill. Marlaina George and Victoria Bickel went 2-0 in doubles for the Falcons.

Tjaden Giles was 2-1 in singles for Basic. Macayla Schopp and Allison Feng were 2-1 in doubles for the Wolves.

Desert Pines 12, Las Vegas 6 — At Desert Pines, the doubles teams of Veronica Palacios and Yazaret Arredondo, and Yesenia Resendez and Wislande Olibrice both went 3-0 to help the Jaguars top the Wildcats.

Brie Perkins, Nadxielli Arredondo, and Evelin Beltran each went 2-1 in singles for Desert Pines.

Karla Torres was 3-0 in singles for Las Vegas.

Green Valley 12, Liberty 6 — At Liberty, Dasha Shalina went 3-0 in singles as the Gators bested the Patriots.

Anna Pfarrer was 2-0 in singles for Liberty.

Valley 13, Silverado 5 — At Valley, Ashley Cantu was 3-0 in singles as the Vikings defeated the Skyhawks.

The doubles teams of Annelisa Laizure and Ruby Valencia, and Deanine Dilworth and Catarina Guedes-Almeida each went 3-0 for Valley.

Lyric Ciarlo was 2-1 in singles to lead Silverado.

Moapa Valley 14, Chaparral 4 — At Chaparral, Sara Udall was 3-0 in singles as the Pirates rolled by the Cowboys.

Jurnie Crawford went 2-0 in singles for Moapa Valley.

Karina Cosentino and Eva Esqueda finished 2-1 in doubles for Chaparral.

Boulder City 16, Virgin Valley 2 — At Mesquite, Kali Martin and Heather Patterson went 3-0 in doubles to help the Eagles top the Bulldogs.

Tegan Pappas, Olivia Goodfellow and Natalie Bowman each went 3-0 in singles for Boulder City.

Faith Lutheran 16, Shadow Ridge 2 — At Faith Lutheran, Kennedy Barr was 2-0 in singles as the Crusaders defeated the Mustangs.

The doubles teams of Megan Parrish and Sarah Fridrich, and Kelsie Seigle and Courtney Martin each went 2-0 for Faith Lutheran.

Bishop Gorman 17, Centennial 1 — At Bishop Gorman, Courtney Wolfson, Olivia Balelo and Karissa Matthews each finished 3-0 in singles to lead the Gaels by the Bulldogs.

Gabriela Dicicco and Madison Winston went 3-0 in doubles for Gorman.

Tech 12, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, the Roadrunners defeated the Dragons by forfeit.

Canyon Springs vs. Coronado — At Coronado, the match between the Pioneers and Cougars was canceled because of lightning.
