Roundup: Virgin Valley wins tiebreaker to edge Chaparral

Virgin Valley’s boys tennis team won the tiebreaker 4-2 over Chaparral en route to a 10-9 road win on Thursday afternoon.

Bruce Cox went 2-1 in singles play to lead the Bulldogs.

Juan Blas went 3-0 in singles for the Cowboys.

Liberty 11, Silverado 7 — At Silverado, Faaris Khilji and Asher Gordon went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Patriots over the Skyhawks.

Constandinos Pappas was 3-0 in singles for Silverado. Jakob Winders and Owen Cox each went 2-1 in singles for the Skyhawks.

Centennial 15, Shadow Ridge 3 — At Centennial, Justin Madsen went 2-0 in singles play to lead the Bulldogs past the Mustangs.

Clark 12, Desert Pines 6 — At Desert Pines, the Chargers defeated the Jaguars.

Treasure Nyame was 2-1 in singles to pace Desert Pines.

Boulder City 17, Tech 1 — At Boulder City, Sam O’Berto went 3-0 in singles to lead the Eagles past the Roadrunners.

Breton Erlanger was 2-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Boen Huxford and Preston Jorgensen went 2-0 for Boulder City.

Foothill 16, Eldorado 2 — At Eldorado, Stefan Sretenovic, Travis Weber and Preston Oakley each went 2-0 in singles play to lead the Falcons past the Sundevils.

Desert Oasis 16, Arbor View 2 — At Arbor View, Caiden Jacob went 3-0 in singles as the Diamondbacks topped the Aggies.

Coronado 16, Basic 2 — At Basic, Ethan Quandt went 2-0 in singles play to lead the Cougars past the Wolves.

The doubles team of Akhil Mohan and Zachary Sullivan also went 2-0 for Coronado.

Green Valley 15, Las Vegas 3 — At Green Valley, the Gators swept the first round and rolled past the Wildcats.

Cimarron-Memorial 12, Legacy 0 — At Cimarron, the Spartans won by forfeit.

Valley 12, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, the Vikings defeated the Pioneers by forfeit.

Moapa Valley 12, Del Sol 0 — At Overton, the Pirates defeated the Dragons by forfeit.
