Outlook: The Lions will compete for the first time this season, though they’re hopeful to have a state qualifier in the triple jump in Woody.

“For our first year as a program, I believe we will improve dramatically throughout the season,” Brown said. “We have a very young team, but should compete well against the smaller Class 1A schools and charter school programs.”
