VOLLEYBALL: Joshua Hunt leads Spring Valley to a four-set win over Clark

Joshua Hunt had 30 assists to lead Spring Valley’s boys volleyball team to a 25-14, 12-25, 25-16, 25-16 home win over Clark on Monday.
Jacob Teems-Robinson added seven kills, two aces and three blocks for the Grizzlies, and Jimmy Mai had seven kills, three aces and three blocks.
Kizihonie Blunt led Clark with 18 kills, 14 digs and two aces. Marcus Wixom had 11 digs, four aces and two kills, and Carlos Alvarez had 22 assists and four aces for the Chargers.
Durango 3, Foothill 0 — At Durango, Jaylen Clark had 11 kills, 15 digs and two blocks to lead the Trailblazers past the Falcons, 25-20, 25-22, 25-21.
T.K. Fotu had seven kills, and Andre Shabazz dished out 30 assists with two kills and 10 digs.
Tanner Lester had five kills and 11 digs to lead Foothill.
Dylan Litviak added five kills, and Troy Bell had 10 digs for the Falcons.
Sierra Vista 3, Bonanza 0 — At Bonanza, Chris McCoy had 13 kills to lead the Mountain Lions past the Bengals, 25-21, 25-9, 25-15.
Lerone Gibson had eight kills, and teammate Ian Albertson dished out 33 assists for Sierra Vista.
Kadin Warner had six kills and four blocks to lead Bonanza.
Paola Luchs had four kills, two aces and four digs, and James Mead had 11 assists for the Bengals.
Rancho 3, Valley 0 — At Rancho, Tiger Tokunaga had six aces and four kills to power the Rams by the Vikings, 25-12, 25-16, 25-15.
Brennan Berti had six kills and four blocks, and Tristan King had six kills and three blocks for Rancho. Jesus Gonzalez added 11 assists, and Cameron Corcran had eight assists for the Rams.
Mojave 3, Western 0 — At Western, Antonyo Wright had 16 kills and three aces in the Rattlers’ 25-11, 25-15, 25-13 win over the Warriors.
Joseph Silva had six kills, and Juan Valdez added 20 assists for Mojave.
Western’s Christian Macias had three kills and 11 assists, and Anthony Dodson had five kills for the Warriors.
Las Vegas 3, Eldorado 0 — At Las Vegas, Brandon Kampshoff had five kills, and Trevor Marx added four kills and six digs to help the Wildcats to a 25-12, 25-18, 25-18 win over the Sundevils.
Elliott Silveira had 14 assists and five digs for Las Vegas, and Jon Sosa had seven aces for the Wildcats.
Del Sol 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Pines, Yerovys Vargas-Gill had 10 kills to lead the Dragons to a 25-18, 25-20, 25-9 victory over the Jaguars.
Alejandro Marin added eight kills, and teammate Alan Ramos-Flores had 19 assists for Del Sol.
Tech 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Tech, Haakon Hunsaker had five kills, and James Pool had three aces to lead the Roadrunners to a 25-10, 25-19, 28-26 win over the Miners.
Kevin Polendon had four kills for Sunrise Mountain.
Cheyenne 3, Chaparral 0 — At Cheyenne, Tyler Buchanan had 10 kills and five aces in the Desert Shields’ 25-13, 25-21, 25-12 win over the Cowboys.
Ryan Buchanan added 15 assists and nine aces, and Brian Orellana had five kills for Cheyenne.
Bishop Gorman 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Gorman, Charlie Pollnow had 12 kills as the Gaels defeated the Diamondbacks, 25-18, 25-13, 25-21.
Will Hafen added 11 kills, and Ray Leon had 10 kills for Gorman, which got 34 assists from Trevor Papcock.
Jacob Jaffe had five kills and two blocks to lead Desert Oasis. Tyler Sadama added nine assists and two blocks, and Bryson Sadama had 16 digs for the Diamondbacks.
