2017 Shadow Ridge Boys Golf Capsule

SHADOW RIDGE

Head coach: Steven Huesch, eighth season

Returning lettermen: Three

Top golfers: Mitchell Stark (Sr.), Julian Valencia (Sr.), Bryce Huesch (Jr.)

Outlook: Stark was a Sunset Region meet qualifier last season and is one of three returning lettermen for the Mustangs.

“We are a more rounded team this year and looking to improve on last year’s stats,” Steven Huesch said. “I hope to have at least three players make it to regionals and at least one player make it to state.

“We are a young team with only two seniors. This is a great group of boys, and they enjoy their time on the course with each other.”
