GIRLS BASKETBALL: Jayne Antone, Needles top Laughlin

Jayne Antone scored 14 points Tuesday to lead the Needles girls basketball team to a 46-30 road victory over Laughlin.

Brenna Chavez and Paige Murch each added 10 points for the Mustangs, who used a 10-2 second-quarter run to take a 19-10 halftime lead.

Teresa Chapa led the Cougars with 14 points.

Calvary Chapel 49, Mountain View 29 — At Calvary Chapel, Sara Hernandez led three Lions in double figures with 15 pints as they defeated the Saints.

Malia Lee added 14 points, and Kaitlyn Harris scored 11 for Calvary Chapel, which led 16-6 after one quarter.

Tayah De’Bouck paced Mountain View with 18 points.

Lincoln County 42, Adelson School 21 — At Adelson School, Kailey Kelley and Sadie Soderborg each had nine points to lead the Lynx past the Lions.

Claire Mason led Adelson School with eight points.

Agassi Prep 71, Lake Mead 28 — At Lake Mead, Destiny Rover had 16 points and the Stars rolled past the Eagles.

Sharmayne Finley added 14 points, and teammate Raylene Thomas scored 12 for Agassi Prep, which opened the game on a 22-2 run.

Aaliyah Perkins led Lake Mead with 12 points.
