GIRLS BASKETBALL: Alyssa Scott, Spring Valley fend off Sierra Vista

Alyssa Scott scored 13 points Wednesday as Spring Valley’s girls basketball team held off host Sierra Vista, 36-34.

Myra Tadytin added six points for Spring Valley, which jumped out to a 22-12 halftime advantage.

Shania Harper notched 18 points, 17 rebounds and four blocked shots to lead Sierra Vista.

Rancho 41, Valley 32 — At Rancho, Kyndal Ricks had 24 points, nine rebounds and five assists to lead the Rams to victory over the Vikings.

Lea Williams added seven points for Rancho, which outscored Valley 22-12 over the middle quarters to take control.

Sondra Scroggins had 17 points to lead the Vikings.

Durango 47, Bonanza 27 — At Durango, Analiyah Matthews poured in 32 points as the Trailblazers routed the Bengals.

Dar’Juanah Harris added eight points for Durango, which led 27-11 at the half.

Madie Gonzalez scored 15 points to lead Bonanza.

Las Vegas 40, Eldorado 24 — At Las Vegas, Jasmine Perez led all scorers with 14 points to help the Wildcats top the Sundevils.

Teconna Dyer added nine points, and Armonnie Byrd scored eight for Las Vegas, which led 23-9 at halftime.

Kiana Parkes led Eldorado with 12 points.

Virgin Valley 50, Boulder City 22 — At Mesquite, Briana Todd scored 15 points to lead the Bulldogs to an easy win over the Eagles.

Nathalie Lagamayo added 12 points for Virgin Valley, which held Boulder City to two points in the second quarter and three in the fourth. The Bulldogs finished with 21 steals.

Keely Alexander led Boulder City with seven points.

Moapa Valley 48, Chaparral 13 — At Chaparral, Kinlee Marshall scored 13 points as the Pirates rolled past the Cowboys.

Kaitlyn Anderson added 10 points, and Shelbi Walker scored eight for Moapa Valley, which outscored Chaparral 21-0 in the third quarter.

Erika Neal led Chaparral with five points.

Tech 47, Del Sol 13 — At Tech, Tayler Muwwakkil scored 19 points in the Roadrunners’ win over the Dragons.

Patrice Thomas and Jazlyn Domingo-Naval each added eight points for Tech.

Ashanti Dickson had seven points to lead Del Sol.

Laughlin 55, Adelson School 26 — At Adelson School, Nicole Petrich scored a game-high 18 points as the Cougars routed the Lions.

Amanda Miller added 13 points, and Lori Morgon scored 12 for Laughlin, which led 32-12 at halftime.

Claire Mason led Adelson School with 11 points.
