FLAG FOOTBALL: Shadow Ridge slips past Desert Oasis

Samantha Milanovich had 110 receiving yards with two touchdowns and ran for a score as Shadow Ridge’s flag football team held off host Desert Oasis 26-20 on Tuesday.

Dayvian Diaz had an 80-yard interception return for a score, and Vanessa Almanzor rushed for 152 yards for the Mustangs.

Makayla Rickard was 22 of 41 passing for 225 yards, ran for a TD and caught a touchdown pass from LillyAna Ghanem for Desert Oasis.

Sunrise Mountain 7, Rancho 6 — At Rancho, Jamile Cano caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Kelani Borja to tie the game with 18 seconds remaining, and Paola Juarez-Avila ran in the extra point to lift the Miners past the Rams.

Las Vegas 31, Arbor View 12 — At Las Vegas, Kaitlyn Horstdaniel completed 13 of 17 passes for 178 yards and three touchdowns to power the Wildcats past the Aggies.

Natalie Gennuso caught eight passes for 114 yards and two TDs for Las Vegas, which raced out to a 25-6 halftime advantage.

Kiura Shipman rushed for 74 yards and a score, and teammate Sabrina Saldate had 70 yards receiving and a touchdown for the Wildcats.

Basic 19, Valley 12 — At Valley, the Wolved scored 13 second-half points to break a 6-6 halftime tie and defeat the Vikings.

Coronado 35, Durango 0 — At Durango, Sydnee Hansen ran for two scores, and Trinity Rhoades caught a touchdown pass as the Cougars blanked the Trailblazers.

Shawna Slater added a rushing touchdown for Coronado, which led 21-0 at halftime.

Centennial 47, Mojave 19 — At Centennial, Halli Erickson threw five touchdown passes as the Bulldogs rolled past the Rattlers.

Erickson completed 11 of 17 passes for 281 yards, and also had four carries for 40 yards.

LeNae Thomas caught four passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns, and Kayla Kipp-Nobles, Denae Benites and Brooke Lewis each added a TD catch for Centennial.

Taylor Aquino had a 6-yard TD run, and Kipp-Nobles recorded 10 tackles for the Bulldogs.

Sierra Vista 41, Liberty 6 — At Liberty, the Mountain Lions pounded the Patriots.

Marisa Pupo had a rushing touchdown for Liberty’s lone score.
