VOLLEYBALL: Pahrump splits at Longhorn Invitational with win over Spring Valley and loss to Legacy

Pahrump Valley’s Alexis Trieb had 14 kills and Jackie Stobbe had three aces as the Trojans took down Spring Valley 25-15, 26-27, 15-11 in the Longhorn Invitational.

For the Grizzlies, Cashmere Buford had 24 digs, Danielle Amonica had 17 assists and Alleanna Thomson had 12 kills.

Round Mountain 3, Beaver Dam 0 — At Round Mountain, Maddison Hill’s 12 kills led the way for the Knights in a 25-14, 25-15, 25-18 victory over the Diamondbacks.

Josie Merritt had five kills and four blocks for Round Mountain, and Ariana Marich and Hannah Swafford each had six kills.

Pahranagat Valley 3, Sandy Valley 0 — At Pahranagat, Madison Haris had nine kills, four assists and three digs in the Panthers’ 25-4, 25-13, 25-10 win over the Sidewinders.

Karley Whipple had eight assists and five kills for the Panthers, and Allyse Frehner had 18 assists. Kyla Shumway added five kills.

Legacy 2, Pahrump Valley 0 — At the Longhorn Invitational, Legacy cruised past Pahrump Valley in two sets.

Jill Smith had three kills for the Trojans and Isabelle Meza added two blocks.
