BOYS TENNIS: Ben Gajardo’s perfect day leads Diamondbacks by Spring Valley

Ben Gajardo went 3-0 in singles to help Desert Oasis’ boys tennis team to a 12-6 win over host Spring Valley on Monday.

The doubles team of Jaxson Otis and Kyle Moser went 3-0 for Spring Valley, and Chris Zimmerman went 2-1 in singles for the Grizzlies.

Sierra Vista 10, Durango 8 — At Sierra Vista, Rahul Gupte was 3-0 in singles to send Mountain Lions past the Trailblazers.

The doubles teams of Tyler Sunstrum and Raymond Dang, and Justin Wenger and Thomas Wenger went 2-1 for Sierra Vista.

Hayden Jasper and Jovan Lubara went 3-0 in doubles for the Trailblazers

Faith Lutheran 13, Legacy 5 — At Darling Tennis Center, Maxwell Blum was 2-0 in singles, and Charlie Magruder and Spencer Scarcelli went 2-0 in doubles to lead the Crusaders by the Longhorns.

Kyle Avery was 2-1 in singles for Faith Lutheran.

Legacy’s Willie Valdez-Grijalva was 2-1 in singles.

Bishop Gorman 15, Bonanza 3 — At Gorman, Michael Connors and Grant Rogers finished 2-0 in doubles to lead the Gaels by the Bengals.

Billy MacDonald was 2-0 in singles for Gorman.

Weston Clark went 2-1 in singles for Bonanza.

Centennial 16, Arbor View 2 — At Arbor View, Raul Saucedo and Justin Madsen each went 2-0 in singles to help the Bulldogs over the Aggies.

Centennial’s doubles teams of George Amacher and Dawson Stratton, and Nick Ogbar and Tristan Valles each went 2-0.

Brenden Wagner and Treven Clizbe went 2-1 in doubles to pick up both the Aggies’ points.

The Meadows 15, Adelson School 3 — At The Meadows, Nathaniel Van der Post went 3-0 in singles to help the Mustangs over the Lions.

Daniel Pereira was 2-0 in singles for The Meadows.

Palo Verde 17, Shadow Ridge 1 — At Shadow Ridge, the Panthers beat the Mustangs.

Mojave 12, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, the Rattlers won by forfeit.

Desert Pines 12, Eldorado 0 — At Desert Pines, the Jaguars defeated the Sundevils by forfeit.
