BOYS SOCCER: Aguirre’s late goal lifts Mountain Lions over Bonanza

Calvin Aguirre scored with three minutes to play to give Sierra Vista’s boys soccer team a 4-3 home victory over Bonanza on Tuesday.
Daniel Perez added two goals, and Tanner Erwin had a goal and an assist for the Mountain Lions. Aguirre also had an assist for Sierra Vista.
Mountain Lions goalkeeper Donovan McCree saved a second-half penalty kick with Sierra Vista up, 3-2.
Juan Rodriguez had two goals and an assist to lead the Bengals. Jonas Bryant also scored for Bonanza.
Foothill 4, Green Valley 2 — At Foothill, Trent Milne had two goals and an assist to the lead the Falcons over the Gators.
Reagan Mugume had a goal and an assist for Foothill, and teammate Stanley Henderson scored a goal.
Cole Aronson and Elyjah DeLeon scored for Green Valley.
Virgin Valley 1, Boulder City 0 — At Mesquite, Pedro Osuna-Gomez scored on a second-half penalty kick to lift the Bulldogs over the Eagles.
Goalkeeper Hayden Johnson made five saves to get the shutout.
Clark 4, Desert Oasis 1 — At Clark, Kevin Medina had two goals and an assist to lead the Chargers to a win over the Diamondbacks.
Tesfu Mebretom and John Sterling-Penniston each added a goal for Clark, which led 3-1 at halftime.
Anthony Ramirez scored on an assist from Ethan Kovach for Desert Oasis.
Del Sol 5, Tech 2 — At Del Sol, Diego Nieves had three goals and an assist as the Dragons rolled past the Roadrunners.
Ruben Ortiz and Sergio Calderon also scored for the Dragons, who led 5-0 at the half.
Joel Velazquez and Andres Santana scored for Tech.
Bishop Gorman 3, Spring Valley 1 — At Spring Valley, Brandon Malek scored on a penalty kick to help lead the Gaels over the Grizzlies.
Justin Rasmussen added a goal for Gorman, which was helped by an own goal by Spring Valley.
David Van Hoose scored on a penalty kick for the Grizzlies.
Chaparral 8, Moapa Valley 1 — At Chaparral, the Cowboys scored five goals in the second half to rout the Pirates.
Ivan Topete, Miguel Mendoza and Jonathan Raffta each had two goals for Chaparral. Alexander Caro and Leo Gutierrez also scored for the Cowboys.
Brian Robles scored in the first half for Moapa Valley.
Liberty 10, Basic 0 — At Basic, Hayden Trasad had four goals and an assist, and R.J. Soriano added two goals and five assists as the Patriots rolled over the Wolves.
Keanu Sanchez had two goals and two assists for Liberty, which led 9-0 at the half. Quinn Rankin and Alejandro Lorenzo each added a goal, and Ivan Rodriguez had the shutout.
Coronado 6, Silverado 0 — At Coronado, Preston Judd had three goals and an assist to lead the Cougars over the Skyhawks.
John Lynam added a goal and three assists, Justin Irungaray had a goal and an assist and Alfredo Diaz scored a goal for Coronado.
Harrison Skinner had two saves and got the shutout for the Cougars.
