GIRLS TENNIS: Tjaden Giles helps Basic edge Silverado

Tjaden Giles went 3-0 in singles to help Basic’s girls tennis team edge Silverado 10-8 on Wednesday.

The doubles team of Britney Green and Mikayla Berg also finished 3-0 for the Wolves.

Liberty 13, Foothill 5 — At Foothill, Megan Quandt was 3-0 in singles as the Patriots downed the Falcons.

Centennial 13, Legacy 5 — At Legacy, Lovely Warner-McRoy and Sara Altfas each went 2-0 in singles play to help the Bulldogs down the Longhorns.

Palo Verde 16, Arbor View 2 — At Palo Verde, Shelby Graber, Caroline Hsu and McKenzie Thompson each went 2-0 in singles play to help the Panthers turn back the Aggies.

Clark 16, Sierra Vista 2 — At Sierra Vista, the doubles team of Alysandra Smith and Esther Yi went 3-0 as the Chargers routed the Mountain Lions.

Audrey Boch-Collins was 2-0 in singles for Clark.

Andrada Stancio went 2-1 in singles for Sierra Vista.

Bishop Gorman 18, Desert Oasis 0 — At Gorman, the doubles teams of Julia Johnson and Sofia Victoria Nuno, and Courtney Wolfson and Madison Winston each went 2-0 as the Gaels blanked the Diamondbacks.

The Meadows 14, Desert Pines 4 — At Desert Pines, Anuja Daulat was 3-0 in singles as the Mustangs ran past the Jaguars.

Abbigail Klein and Sophie Isaacs each went 2-0 in singles for The Meadows.

Shelly Alvarado and Yazaret Arredondo went 2-1 in doubles for Desert Pines.

Rancho 12, Sunrise Mountain 4 — At Sunrise Mountain, Maiyah Norton and Destiny Trujeque each went 3-0 in singles to lift the Rams over the Miners.

Faith Lutheran 14, Cimarron-Memorial 4 — At Cimarron, the Crusaders downed the Spartans.

Green Valley 10, Coronado 8 — At Green Valley, the Gators edged the Cougars.

Western 12, Cheyenne 0 — At Western, the Warriors defeated the Desert Shields by forfeit.

Moapa Valley 12, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, the Pirates beat the Dragons by forfeit.
