GIRLS SOCCER: Calista Reyes’ goal helps Sierra Vista slip past Spring Valley

Calista Reyes scored an unassisted goal in the second half to lift Sierra Vista’s girls soccer team to a 1-0 victory over host Spring Valley on Thursday.
Jamie Kalaau-Sunia made two saves to get the shutout.
Bonanza 5, Durango 0 — At Durango, Charlene Beck and Delmy Ordonez each had a goal and an assist to lift the Bengals past the Trailblazers.
Shayne Dunn, Abby Martinez and Ashley Vasquez also scored for Bonanza.
Bengals goalkeeper Alicia Kestner had five saves in the shutout.
Celina Gomez and Hannah Webster added assists for the Bengals.
Bishop Gorman 7, Clark 0 — At Clark, Arlie Jones had three goals, and Jaden Terrana scored twice as the Gaels defeated the Chargers.
Hannah Borgel added a goal and two assists, and Tavin Hays had a goal and an assist for Gorman. Linda Ono added two assists for the Gaels.
Emilie Hong and Kirsten Kircher combined on the shutout.
Green Valley 3, Liberty 0 — At Green Valley, Alexis Kirson had two goals and an assist to lead the Gators past the Patriots.
Chela Anglin also scored for the Gators, who broke open a scoreless game with three goals in the second half.
Emberly Sevilla, who moved from her goalkeeper position in the second half, had two assists.
Sevilla and Alexa Eastep combined on the shutout.
Coronado 3, Basic 0 — At Basic, Brenna Heenan and Katelyn Moxley each finished with a goal and an assist to help the Cougars down the Wolves.
Amanda Burt added a goal, and Caitlin Shannon had an assist for Coronado.
Rachel Morris was credited with the shutout.
Virgin Valley 7, Chaparral 0 — At Mesquite, Abbie Barnum scored three goals to lead the Bulldogs to a rout over the Cowboys.
Ally Wright had two goals and an assist as the Bulldogs erupted for five goals in the first half. The game was called with about 15 minutes remaining because of inclement weather.
Kallie Graves scored a goal and had five assists, and Madison Cheney had a goal and an assist for Virgin Valley.
Goalkeepers Kristina Anquiano and Alyson Cook each had one save in the combined shutout.
Tech 2, Boulder City 0 — At Tech, Leslie Santos had a goal and an assist to lead the Roadrunners past the Eagles.
Adriana Guzman also scored for Tech.
Goalkeepers Serena De La Rosa and Chloe Dody combined for the shutout.
Moapa Valley 5, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, the Pirates blanked the Dragons.
Goalie Jessica Leon earned the shutout for Moapa Valley.
