BOYS TENNIS: Sierra Vista tops Durango on a tiebreaker

Sierra Vista’s Rahul Gupte went 2-1 in singles Monday, leading the visting Lions to a 10-9 victory over Durango on a tiebreaker.

Cesar Castro was 3-0 in singles for the Trailblazers.

The team of Jovan Lubara and Filip Bosnajak finished 3-0 in doubles for Durango.

Desert Oasis 10, Spring Valley 8 — At Desert Oasis, Ben Gajardo was 3-0 in singles to lift the Diamondbacks over the Grizzlies.

The doubles team of Caiden Jacob and Tyler Parlade also went 3-0 for Desert Oasis.

The doubles teams of Dominic Morimando and Jared Patteron, and Jaxson Otis and Kyle Moser each went 2-1 for the Spring Valley.

Rancho 14, Eldorado 4 — At Rancho, Ojas Sali finished 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Andrew Alves and Anjana Dissanayaka went 2-0 to lead the Rams to a win over the Sundevils.

Luis Moreno-Arias went 2-1 in singles for the Rams.

The doubles team of Jordan Eldred and Miguel Rodriguez finished 2-1 for Eldorado.

Clark 13, Coronado 5 — At Coronado, Michael Pasimio and Mark Bernales each went 2-0 in singles play to lead the Chargers past the Cougars.

The doubles team of Marcus Pasimio and Simran Shah went 2-0 for Clark.

Bishop Gorman 15, Bonanza 3 — At Bonanza, Daniel Kinas finished 3-0 in singles to lead the Gaels to a 15-3 victory over the Bengals.

The doubles team of Lucas Hammond and Matt Lamb went 2-0 for Gorman.

Bonanza’s Justin Balconi finished 2-1 in singles.

Moapa Valley 13, Tech 5 — At Tech, Chase Hadley went 3-0 in singles to lead the Pirates over the Roadrunners.

The doubles team of Tyler Peterson and Chase Kruse finished 3-0 for Moapa Valley.

Foothill 15, Valley 3 — At Foohill, the Falcons swept the singles sets to top the Vikings.

Brayden Griffie, Jace Roquemore and Joel Benavidez each went 3-0 in singles for Foothill.

Valley’s A.J. Duff and Christian Howe went 3-0 in doubles.

Boulder City 17, Chaparral 1 — At Boulder City, Andre Papas stayed undefeated, finishing 2-0 in singles to lead the Eagles to victory over the Cowboys.

Las Vegas 12, Canyon Springs 0 — At Las Vegas, the Wildcats won by forfeit.

The Meadows 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Mustangs won by forfeit.

Virgin Valley 12, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, the Bulldogs won by forfeit.
