GIRLS SOCCER: Basic takes care of Eldorado, Coronado routs Rancho

Basic’s girls soccer team scored four first-half goals Thursday en route to a 5-2 road victory over Eldorado.

Heavyn Lopez, Sydnie Hopkins and Allyson Lieber each had a goal and an assist to lead the Wolves.

Brittnie Trejo and Sasha Bodison each added a goal for Basic.

Brianna Duran scored both goals for the Sundevils.

Coronado 8, Rancho 0 — At Rancho, Katelyn Moxley scored three goals as the Cougars routed the Rams.

Olivia Meza added a goal and had two assists for Coronado.

Caitlin Shannon, Jensen Boman, Cassidy Bibbings and Maya Burnette each scored a goal for the Cougars, and Evie DiFiore had three assists.

Goalkeepers Rachel Morris and Taylor Book combined for the shutout.
