GOLF: McClure, Kirchner spark Silverado to Northeast League victory

Matthew McClure and Thomas Kirchner each shot 3-over-par 75 at Boulder Creek on Wednesday to help Silverado’s boys golf team win a Northeast League match.

The Skyhawks had a team score of 435. Liberty was second with 456, followed by Valley at 578.

Liberty’s Jayrick Cadelina-Canyete was the medalist with a 74.

Panthers take Southwest League match

At Aliante, Joseph Ender shot par 72 to earn medalist honors and lead Palo Verde to victory in a Southwest League match.

The Panthers, who also got a 74 from Cameron Barzekoff and a 75 from Jett Isoda, shot 383 as a team. Bishop Gorman was second at 416, followed by Shadow Ridge at 433.

Shadow Ridge’s Tanner Johnson shot 74, and teammate Mitchell Stark added a 76.

Crusaders win Sunset League match

At Angel Park, Greg Price shot 4-over 75 to share medalist honors and help Faith Lutheran to victory in a Sunset League match.

Jared Ramsay added a 77, and Mitch Conley shot 78 for the Crusaders, who had a team score of 395. Pahrump Valley took second with 424, followed by Sierra Vista at 461.

Pahrump’s Austen Ancell and Sierra Vista’s George Kim also shot 75.
