SOFTBALL: Egan, Pahrump top error-ridden Warriors in eight innings

Jordan Egan went 4-for-5 with three doubles, and Pahrump Valley’s softball team took advantage of six errors to outlast host Western, 7-4 in eight innings.

Leanne Kaiwi added a double for the Trojans, who scored five runs in the top of the eighth inning before holding on.

Alexis Moeaki was 3-for-4 with two doubles and a home run for the Warriors.

Arbor View 9, Legacy 2 – At Legacy, Lileya Kebos went 3-for-3 with two triples, two runs and four RBIs as the Aggies downed the Longhorns.

Terren Vinson was 2-for-4 with a double for Arbor View, which scored eight runs in the final two innings.

Alyssa Sotelo was 1-for-2 with an RBI for Legacy. Starting pitcher Amanda Sink struck out 14 in 6 1/3 innings for the Longhorns.

Centennial 18, Bishop Gorman 10 — At Centennial, Angel Love went 4-for-4 with two home runs, a double and six RBIs as the Bulldogs outslugged the Gaels.

Makenzie Ball was 4-for-4, and Christina Cerrone went 3-for-3 for Centennial, which trailed 6-0 after the top of the first inning.

Sierra Dias was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, and Hannah Gondini went 2-for-5 with a triple for Gorman.

Desert Oasis 12, Durango 9 — At Durango, Elsy Guzman hit a two-run home run, and Hailey Jaramillo went 3-for-4 to lead the Diamondbacks by the Trailblazers.

Paisley Garcia pitched five innings to earn the win for Desert Oasis, which led 7-0 after the top of the fourth inning.

Brooke Alves was 3-for-5 with a double, and Kaitlyn O’Hearn went 2-for-4 with a solo home run for Durango.

Palo Verde 13, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Grace Chavez was 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs as the Panthers routed the Spartans in five innings.

Kali Tomlinson, Alyson Snelling and Chavez hit consecutive home runs in the fourth inning for the Panthers.

McKenzie Ryan and Makall Whetten each went 2-for-3 with an RBI, and Snelling went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Palo Verde.

Haylee Lupinetti tossed a five-hitter for Palo Verde.

Spring Valley 15, Mojave 4 — At Spring Valley, Teegen Teal went 3-for-3 with two RBIs, and winning pitcher Raven Bierlein was 1-for-2 with five RBIs as the Grizzlies downed the Rattlers in five innings.

Stephanie Huff went 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Mariah Ward was 2-for-2 with two RBIs for Spring Valley, which got two doubles from Vivian Quiroz-Montano.

Anastasia Evans was 2-for-3 for Mojave.

Las Vegas 10, Basic 0 — At Basic, Skylar Gorrell tossed a five-inning two-hitter and struck out six as the Wildcats topped the Wolves.

Kaitlyn Horstdaniel was 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs, and Sabrina Saldate was 3-for-4 with an RBI for Las Vegas.

Green Valley 10, Eldorado 0 — At Green Valley, Tyre Hilton went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and Alyssa Herrera was 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs as the Gators blanked the Sundevils in five innings.

Savannah Fabro supplied a triple and three RBIs for Green Valley.

Allie Lamb and Katrina Ramos combined on a two-hitter for the Gators.

Foothill 11, Valley 0 — At Valley, the Falcons took advantage of eight errors en route to a six-inning shutout of the Vikings.

Jazmine Dukes and Caitlyn Stevenson each had an RBI single for Foothill.

Kayla King and Makenzie Andrews combined to toss a four-hitter for the Falcons.

Sierra Vista 12, Cheyenne 0 — At Sierra Vista, Kalei Watkins threw a five-inning three-hitter with eight strikeouts to guide the Mountain Lions by the Desert Shields.

Taylor DeGuzman went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, and Andrea Barajas was 2-for-3 for Sierra Vista, which scored 10 runs in the fourth inning.

Faith Lutheran 14, Clark 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Caileen Ryan tossed a five-inning one-hitter in her first varsity start and helped the Crusaders rout the Chargers.

Audrey Walker went 3-for-3 with a triple, a double and five RBIs for Faith Lutheran. Samantha Jack went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and Claire Peck was 2-for-2 with three RBIs for the Crusaders, who led 11-0 after two innings.

Shadow Ridge 25, Bonanza 0 — At Bonanza, Mia Voges spun a five-inning one-hitter with 10 strikeouts and no walks as the Mustangs routed the Bengals.

Alisha Schultz was 5-for-6 with a double and five RBIs, and teammate Shae Clements had two hits and four runs for Shadow Ridge. Kate Dennis went 3-for-3, and Samantha Milanovich homered for the Mustangs.

Jasmine Mish had Bonanza’s single in the fourth inning.

Sunrise Mountain 11, Indian Springs 1 — At Sunrise Mountain, Andrea Garner threw a five-inning one-hitter and went 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI to power the Miners past the Thunderbirds.

Areionna Herrera was 3-for-3 for Sunrise Mountain, which got two hits from Felicity Crandall.

Lake Mead 14, Laughlin 11 — At Laughlin, Josey White tripled, singled and drove in two runs, and Kayla Freund added an RBI double as the Eagles outslugged the Cougars.

Brittany Schelper had three hits, including a triple, and drove in two runs, and Jalynn Quibell had two singles, a double and two RBIs for Laughlin.

Calvary Chapel 56, Mountain View 46 — At Mountain View, the Lions outlasted the Saints in a five-inning, five-hour game.
