GIRLS SWIMMING: Tober leads Clark past Faith Lutheran

Ingrid Tober won the 50-yard freestyle in 26.77 seconds and placed second in the 500 freestyle as Clark’s girls swimming team topped Faith Lutheran 138-136 in a dual meet at Pavilion on Tuesday.

Faith Lutheran’s Rori Conners took the 200 individual medley (2:19.62) and 500 freestyle (5:30.69).

Spring Valley 137 ½, Legacy 128 ½ — At Pavilion, Nevina Warsito won the 100 breasstroke (1:19.17) and placed second in the 500 freestyle (5:50.58) to help the Grizzlies edge the Longhorns.

Vivica Craig and and Isabella Schutte each won two events for Legacy. Craig won the 200 freestyle (2:09.24) and 500 freestyle (5:47.16), and Schutte won the the 100 freestyle (56.25) and 100 butterfly (1:04.23) for the Longhorns.

Palo Verde 184, Sierra Vista 95 — At Pavilion, Stephanie Platt won the 100 backstroke (1:04.0) and 100 freestyle (56.25) as the Panthers downed the Mountain Lions.

Western 139, Cheyenne 46 — At Pavilion, Melissa Parayno took the 500 freestyle (8:25.24) and 200 freestyle (3:00.1) as the Warriors routed the Desert Shields.

Cheyenne’s Tallyn Clark won the 200 individual medley (2:34.12) and 50 freestyle (28.99).

Adelson School 150, Mojave 65 — At Pavilion, Leemor Aizenberg, Morgan Chudd and Sophie Jorgenson each won two events to lead the Lions by the Rattlers.

Aizenberg took the 200 freestyle (2:12.85) and 500 freestyle (6:36.64). Chudd won the 100 butterfly (1:06.27) and the 100 freestyle (1:01.91), and Jorgenson was first in the 100 breaststroke (1:34.52) and 200 individual medley (2:55.4) for the Lions.
