FLAG FOOTBALL: McArthur, Falcons edge Coronado

Jadyn McArthur threw three touchdown passes and rushed for another score to lead Foothill's flag football team to a 28-26 road win over Coronado on Friday.

McArthur completed 21 of 24 passes for 199 yards and had 10 carries for 66 yards.

Emily Russell finished with eight catches for 89 yards and three TDs for the Falcons. Taeondra Johnson had eight tackles and four sacks for Foothill.

Las Vegas 20, Canyon Springs 6 — At Las Vegas, Sabrina Saldate completed 12 of 20 passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns as the Wildcats beat the Pioneers.

Natalie Gennuso had four catches for 68 yards and a touchdown, and Tajanae Davis added four catches for 65 yards and a TD for Las Vegas.

Teleda Williams intercepted a pass for the Wildcats.

Green Valley 19, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Samantha Loving had seven rushes for 58 yards and a touchdown and three catches for 36 yards as the Gators blanked the Sundevils.

Sara Braverman rushed six times for 58 yards and a score, Carolina Velasquez had a 54-yard TD catch and Bella Cipili completed 5 of 17 passes for 114 yards and a TD for the Gators, who led 7-0 at halftime.

Hennessy Elkins had two interceptions for Green Valley, and teammate Brooklynne Fewer added 10 tackles.

Desert Oasis 6, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Kylee Bauer threw an 11-yard TD pass to Aniyah Reed as the Diamondbacks beat the Aggies.

Bauer completed 7 of 16 passes for 63 yards and had 20 yards rushing on four carries.

Briana Viloria had seven tackles, and Dominique Korschinowski had four tackles and an interception for Desert Oasis.

Centennial 36, Bonanza 6 — At Bonanza, the Bulldogs cruised past the Bengals.

Alicia Kestner rusheed for 83 yards and a touchdown for Bonanza.
