ARBOR VIEW — Girls basketball player Caroline Rivera-Cervantes had 11 points, six rebounds and four steals in a 53-45 win over Desert Hills (Utah). Boys basketball player Jesse Vogel averaged 19 points, four rebounds and five assists for the week.

CHAPARRAL — Boys basketball player Marc Silas topped 1,000 career points in a 72-54 victory over Tech.

DESERT OASIS — Boys basketball player Daron Fuglesten had 13 points and 10 rebounds in a 95-77 win over Palo Verde.

FAITH LUTHERAN — Boys basketball player Blake Bell had a total of 37 points in two games. Girls basketball player Bryanna Neagle had 14 points and nine rebounds against Faith Lutheran.

GREEN VALLEY — Girls basketball player Gwen Garcia averaged 14 points and four assists in wins over Coronado and Rancho. Boys basketball player Xavier Jarvis had 23 points and 11 rebounds in a 55-44 win over Rancho.

LEGACY — Boys basketball player Timothy Jeffries scored 18 of his 19 points in the second half in a 57-42 victory over Paramount (Calif.).

MOJAVE — Flag football player Paige Smith rushed for 174 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries and had five tackles in an 18-12 overtime loss to Sierra Vista.

SHADOW RIDGE — Flag football player Victoria Tolle passed for 168 yards and a touchdown and rushed for a score against Palo Verde.

SIERRA VISTA — Flag football receiver Emily Mackey caught a 10-yard TD pass in overtime in an 18-12 win over Mojave.
