SOCCER: Reyes leads Clark girls by Desert Shields

Ariana Reyes scored three goals, including the game-winner with five minutes remaining, to help Clark's girls soccer team rally for a 4-3 win over host Cheyenne on Friday.

Reyes, who added an assist, also tied the game at 3 just minutes before. Kanoe Mores also scored for Clark.

Girly Tambeagbor scored twice for Cheyenne, and teammate Yadira Erives added a goal and two assists.

Sierra Vista 5, Western 3 — At Western, Calista Reyes scored three goals to lead the Mountain Lions by the Warriors.

Yamilet Perez and Michaela Budnick also scored for Sierra Vista.

Western's Ellyson Reynada had three goals, and teammate Citallic Resendiz had two assists.

BOYS

Western 3, Sierra Vista 1 — At Sierra Vista, Ricardo Gonzalez scored two goals to lead the Warriors by the Mountain Lions.

David Ginsburg also scored and had an assist for Western, which led 2-1 at halftime.

Daniel Perez scored for Sierra Vista.

Mojave 6, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Mojave, Antonio Perez scored three goals as the Rattlers routed the Trojans.

Jose Arevalo, Eduardo Luna-Ruiz, Gabriel Sanchez-Gonzalez also scored for Mojave, which led 4-1 at halftime.

Paul Holmes scored for Pahrump.

Clark 4, Cheyenne 1 — At Clark, Ivan Lopez had two goals and an assist as the Chargers topped the Desert Shields.

Anthony Arlt and William Solis also scored for Clark, which led 3-0 at halftime.

Christian Soalke had a goal for Cheyenne.
