GIRLS BASKETBALL: Gonzalez helps Western girls rally by Bonanza

Destiny Gonzalez scored eight points during an 11-2 third-quarter run Monday to help Western's girls basketball team to a 29-24 win over visiting Bonanza.

Gonzalez finished with 14 points for the Warriors, who trailed 15-14 at the half.

Alexis Harris led the Bengals with nine points.

Rancho 58, Sunrise Mountain 17 — At Rancho, Tatianna Lee had 19 points, six assists and six steals to lead the Rams over the Miners.

Maureen Macato scored 16 points for Rancho, which led 12-0 after the first quarter.

Ayla Diaz led Sunrise Mountain with 11 points.

Coronado 57, Silverado 36 — At Coronado, Sayanna Roy had 19 points, five rebounds and four steals to lead the Cougars past the Skyhawks.

Payton Caci added 15 points, and Haley Tyrell had 12 points for Coronado, which used an 18-9 third-quarter run to pull away.

Eldorado 65, Del Sol 32 — At Eldorado, the Sundevils defeated the Dragons.
