FLAG FOOTBALL: Franklin leads Chaparral past Spring Valley

Neshaune' Franklin ran for 190 yards and three touchdowns Tuesday to help Chaparral's flag football team to a 41-21 win at Spring Valley.

Cassaundra Rhodes and Krystal Gomez each added a touchdown run for the Cowboys.

Spring Valley's Michaela Hood completed 9 of 23 passes for 200 yards and two touchdowns. Jozee DeCunzo had eight carries for 139 yards and a TD and added 61 receiving yards for the Grizzlies, who also got touchdown catches by Doris Gutierrez-Hoyos and Jasmine Fualau.

Mojave 24, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Mojave, Leilani Limtiaco had two touchdown runs, and Raven Williams and Paige Smith each ran for a score as the Rattlers scored 24 second-half points and blanked the Miners.

Del Sol 45, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Lauren Cranor ran for three touchdowns and threw for 128 yards and two scores, as the Dragons blanked the Mountain Lions.

Estefany Gonzalez supplied a rushing TD and a receiving TD for Del Sol.

Jevishel Delemos also had a rushing touchdown for Del Sol.

Desert Pines 26, Clark 13 — At Clark, the Jaguars scored twice in the second half to break a 13-13 halftime tie and beat the Chargers.

Clark's Keyani Irving had 13 carries for 182 yards, including scoring runs of 33 and 45 yards.

Boulder City 42, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Paige Buettner ran for two touchdown and caught a TD pass as the Eagles routed the Desert Shields.

Kenadee Bailey, Jeanne Carmell and London Ayers each added a TD run. Carmell completed 18 of 25 passes for 272 yards and a score for the Eagles.

Oshanna Remy had eight receptions for 114 yards for Boulder City.

Virgin Valley 46, Western 0 — At Mesquite, the Bulldogs rolled to a 27-0 halftime lead and blanked the Warriors.
