2015 All-State Girls Soccer Team

First Team

Taylor Anderson, Reed

The sophomore led the Raiders with 14 goals and nine assists, helping Reed finish second in the High Desert League.

Katherine Ballou, Foothill

The senior, a UNLV commit, scored 43 goals and led Southern Nevada with 22 assists. She surpassed 100 career goals. She was the co-Offensive Player of the Year in the Southeast League.

Macee Barlow, Palo Verde

The junior led her team with 18 goals and had five assists for the Southwest League champion Panthers.

Deja Erickson, Arbor View

The sophomore scored a team-best 29 goals and had nine assists in helping the Aggies to their fourth straight Division I state title. She was the Offensive Player of the Year in the Northwest League.

Darian Gambetta, Clark

The senior, who has committed to play at Cal State-Bakersfield, was second in Southern Nevada with 45 goals and had 14 assists and was the Southern Region Offensive Player of the Year.

Arlie Jones, Bishop Gorman

The junior, already a Southern California commit, had 17 goals and a team-best 11 assists and helped the Gaels to the Sunset Region semifinals.

Alexis Kirson, Green Valley

The junior was fourth in Southern Nevada with 30 goals and had 10 assists for the Gators, who advanced to the Sunrise Region semifinals.

Taylor Kornieck, Coronado

The senior, a Colorado University commit, led Southern Nevada with 54 goals and had 12 assists for the Cougars, who won the Sunrise Region title. She was the co-Offensive Player of the Year in the Southeast League.

McKenna Kynett, Douglas

The senior was named the Sierra League midfield player of the year and helped the Tigers advance to the Northern Region final and the Division I state semifinals.

Allyssa Larkin, Arbor View

The sophomore scored 16 goals and had a team-best 19 assists in helping the Aggies to their fourth straight Division I state title.

Makayla Long, Spanish Springs

The senior led the High Desert champion Cougars with 16 goals and seven assists and helped the team advance to the Northern Region semifinals. She was the High Desert offensive player of the year.

Kiyana Lopez, Green Valley

The senior, who shared time in goal, still posted eight shutouts and helped the Gators advance to the Sunrise Region semifinals. She was the goalkeeper of the year in the Southeast League.

Jadyn Nogues, Palo Verde

The junior, already an Arizona State commit, had 17 goals and a team-best 14 assists to help the Panthers win the Southwest League title. She was the Southwest's Offensive Player of the Year.

Calista Reyes, Sierra Vista

The junior had 18 of her team's 34 goals and had six assists for the Mountain Lions.

Marin Zaccheo, Bishop Manogue

The senior led her team with 25 goals and eight assists and helped the Miners capture the Northern Region title and advance to the Division I state semifinals. She was the Offensive Player of the Year in the Sierra League.

Second Team

Bryn Anderson, North Tahoe

The senior had a team-best 26 goals and had 16 assists for the Lakers, who won the Division III state championship.

Melanie Ara, Arbor View

The junior helped anchor a defense that posted 19 shutouts and allowed just eight goals all season en route to the team's fourth straight Division I state title.

Abbie Barnum, Virgin Valley

Despite missing time with an injury, the junior led her team with 18 goals and six assists and helped the Bulldogs to the Sunrise League title. She was the Sunrise League Offensive Player of the Year.

Samantha Blanchard, Arbor View

The junior had two goals and three assists and helped anchor a defense that posted 19 shutouts and allowed just eight goals all season. She was the Defensive Player of the Year in the Northwest League.

Kristi Chinn, Faith Lutheran

The senior had 16 goals and nine assists, including the winning goal in the Division I-A state semifinal, for the Crusaders, who captured their first state title.

Ryen Darling-Clay, Valley

The senior had a team-best 12 goals and helped the Vikings to a second-place finish in the Northeast League. She was the Offensive Player of the Year in the Northeast League.

Gabriella Etem, Reno

The senior had three goals and seven assists and was named the High Desert League Midfield Player of the Year.

Spencer Green, Virgin Valley

The senior goalkeeper was third in Southern Nevada with 14 shutouts and helped the Bulldogs to the Sunrise League title. She was the Sunrise League Goalkeeper of the Year.

Sarah Higgins, McQueen

The senior defender led the Lancers in goals and helped the team advance to the Northern Region playoffs. She was named the High Desert League Defensive Player of the Year.

Beka Lescenski, Faith Lutheran

The junior goalkeeper was second in Southern Nevada with 16 shutouts and made 10 saves in a 1-0 win over South Tahoe in the Division I-A state title match. She was the Southern Region Goalkeeper of the Year.

Kristyn Lommason, Silverado

The freshman was the Defensive Player of the Year in the Northeast League and helped anchor a defense that allowed only eight goals in Northeast play.

Kellsey Meechudhone, Centennial

The junior defender led her team with eight assists and helped the Bulldogs advance to the Sunset Region final.

Valerie Sue Meyer, Carson

The junior defender helped the Senators limit their opponents to just 17 goals all season and advance to the Northern Region semifinals. She was the Defensive Player of the Year in the Sierra League.

Olivia Meza, Coronado

The junior had 16 goals and 14 assists to help the Cougars to the Sunrise Region title and a berth in the Division I state final.

Brenna Rohnkohl, Faith Lutheran

The senior, a Carroll College (Mont.) commit, anchored a defense that allowed only two goals in its final seven matches and helped the Crusaders to the Division I-A state title. She was the Southern Region Defensive Player of the Year.

Coach of the Year

Steve Morrill, Faith Lutheran

The sixth-year head coach helped the Crusaders to a 20-6-3 overall record, the Southern Region title and the team's first Division I-A state title.
