GIRLS SOCCER: Second-half burst lifts Panthers by Centennial

Macee Barlow and Jadyn Nogues each had a goal and an assist Thursday to help Palo Verde's girls soccer team post a 3-1 win over Centennial in the Las Vegas Kick-Off at Faith Lutheran.

Alexis Lloyd also scored for the Panthers, who were tied 1-1 at the half.

McKenna Stratton scored for Centennial.

Coronado 3, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Faith Lutheran, Taylor Kornieck scored three goals as the Cougars downed the Crusaders in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Nikki Amavisca scored for Faith Lutheran.

Cimarron-Memorial 6, Tech 1 — At Cimarron, Jenny Acevedo had two goals and two assists as the Spartans routed the Roadrunners.

Natasha Martin had two goals and assist, and Annalise Esparza scored twice for the Spartans.

Alysia Mestas scored for the Roadrunners.

Foothill 11, Bonanza 0 — At Bonanza, Katherine Ballou had three goals and three assists, and Myriah Epino had three goals as the Falcons routed the Bengals.

Hannah Anderson supplied two goals and an assist, and Talia Sclafani contributed a goal and an assist for Foothill. Rae Burrell and Hannah Harrison each added a goal, and Rachel Neff had thtree assists for the Falcons.

Goalkeepers Natalie Williams and Darrien Sclafani combined on the shutout.
