TENNIS: Doubles teams lift Bonanza girls past Arbor View

The doubles teams of Brittany Bates and Emmalee Glover, and Abby Lords and Caroline Thuet both went 3-0 on Friday to help host Bonanza's girls tennis team edge Arbor View, 10-8.
Kahlea Kimoto was 3-0 in singles, and Catherine Arizmendez was 2-1 in singles for the Aggies.
Virgin Valley 9, Chaparral 9 — At Mesquite, Natilyn Faught went 3-0 in singles, and the Bulldogs and Cowboys played to a tie.
The teams split their 18 regulation sets, and each won three of the six tiebreaker games. In those tiebreaker games, each team scored 46 points, and the match ended in a draw.
Centennial 11, Cimarron-Memorial 7 — At Centennial, the doubles team of Giselle Leyva and Cassandra Haskin went 3-0 as the Bulldogs edged the Spartans.
Cimarron's Justine Felix was 3-0 in singles.
Liberty 11, Silverado 7 — At Liberty, Marisa Olmos and Breanna Alvarez went 3-0 in doubles as the Patriots swept the nine doubles sets and downed the Skyhawks.
Tiffany Theophil and Megan Lopez each went 3-0 in singles for Silverado.
Desert Pines 16, Sunrise Mountain 2 — At Desert Pines, Ashley Palacios and Carmen Garcia-Leon each went 3-0 in singles as the Jaguars topped the Miners.
The doubles teams of Shelly Alvarado and Cecilia Garcia-Leon, Stephanie Aviles and Cassandra Bueno, and Dori Harper and Veronica Palacios all went 3-0 for Desert Pines.
Valley 17, Las Vegas 1 — At Las Vegas, Alexandra Jianu, Danielle Bradley and Ruby Valencia all went 3-0 in singles to help the Vikings rout the Wildcats.
Claire Angel and Annelisa Laizure went 3-0 in doubles for Valley.
Moapa Valley 16, Del Sol 2 — At Del Sol, the Pirates routed the Dragons.

Arbor View 11, Bonanza 7 — At Bonanza, Treven Clizbe and Brenden Wagner went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Aggies by the Bengals.
Tyler Branton was 2-1 in singles for Arbor View.
Weston Clark was 3-0 in singles, and J.R. Salem and Chance DeRiso went 2-1 in doubles for Bonanza.
Las Vegas 12, Valley 6 — At Las Vegas, Benjamin Bowen was 2-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Trey Chauncey and Kyle Monton went 2-0 to power the Wildcats by the Vikings.
Moapa Valley 12, Del Sol 6 — At Del Sol, the doubles teams of Andy Beckstrand and Koby Frei, and Chase Hadley and Nathan Barraza each went 3-0 to lead the Pirates by the Dragons.
Giovanni Lacala was 3-0 in singles for Del Sol.
Liberty 11, Silverado 7 — At Liberty, Kevin Bloomquist went 3-0 in singles to lead the Patriots by the Skyhawks.
Levi Schleuning was 2-1 in singles for Silverado.
