GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Bonds, Bulldogs hold off Mustangs

Talie Bonds had eight kills, 26 assists, 23 digs and three aces Wednesday as host Centennial outlasted Shadow Ridge, 26-24, 22-25, 14-25, 25-22, 15-13, in a matchup of two of the top girls volleyball teams in the Sunset Region.

Siara Roberts had nine kills and 11 digs, and Kiana Falefitu had seven kills and 11 blocks for the Bulldogs, ranked No. 2 in the Southern Nevada Volleyball Coaches Poll.

Kjersten Saunders added four aces and 27 digs for Centennial.

Eadara Files had 35 assists, five aces and 28 digs, and Kizzy Rodriguez added 18 kills and 29 digs for the fifth-ranked Mustangs. Whittnee Nihipali had 19 kills and 16 digs, and Kamryn Ramirez supplied 39 digs for Shadow Ridge.

Faith Lutheran 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Bobbi Tharaldson had eight kills and nine aces, and Megan Kronschnabel had 28 assists and four aces to the lead the Crusaders to a 25-14, 25-4, 25-9 sweep over the Grizzlies.

Tayah Washington had eight kills, and Sydney Washington had five kills for Faith Lutheran.

Jessica Rafay had three kills to lead Spring Valley.

Danielle Amonica had two kills and five assists, and Mikayla Miller and Cashmere Buford each had four digs for the Grizzlies.

Western 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Western, Destiny Gonzalez supplied 11 kills and four digs to lead the Warriors to a 25-15, 25-18, 25-15 win over the Desert Shields.

Nicole Riggs had 15 assists, and Gabriela Rada added four aces for Western.

Mojave 3, Clark 0 — At Mojave, Leilani Limtiaco had six kills and seven aces, and Sua Estrada added 21 assists and seven aces to help the Rattlers to a 25-20, 25-19, 25-11 win over the Chargers.

Carissa Limtiaco put down seven kills, and Michelle Hernandez notched seven digs for Mojave.

Angel Jamerson led Clark with six kills, 10 assists and five digs. Lauren Marcus had four kills and six digs, and Alexandria Brown added three kills, three assists and six digs for the Chargers.

Sierra Vista 3, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Sierra Vista, Bridgette Levi had seven kills and eight digs to lead the Mountain Lions to a 25-9, 25-12, 25-23 win over the Trojans.

Abbie Schultz had four kills and four aces, and Heaven Gutierrez added 15 digs for Sierra Vista.

Koral Hearn and Alexis Trieb each had four kills, and Jill Smith added nine assists for Pahrump.

Foothill 3, Palo Verde 1 — At Foothill, Kylie McCall had 26 assists and eight aces, and Alyssa McCoy notched 14 kills and six blocks to guide the Falcons to a 25-12, 23-25, 25-20, 25-12 win over the Panthers.

Aysia Mabry contribued 14 digs and six kills for Foothill, which got 11 kills from Tessa Michalosky.

Emma Guitierrez dished out 22 assists, Virginia Rallo had 16 digs, and Kayla Kinney added nine kills to lead Palo Verde.

Rancho 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron-Memorial, Kayla Coles had seven kills and 11 digs, and Maureen Macato finished with seven kills and nine digs to lead the Rams to a 25-19, 25-15, 25-17 sweep of the Spartans.

Karime Raygoza had five kills, two aces and eight digs, Serenity Sivongsa had eight assists and three aces, and Shaye Robles added 10 assists and two aces for Rancho.

Logan DeLong had six kills and 43 assists to lead Cimarron.

Alondra Estrada added 22 assists and two aces, while Alex Payan had two aces and 12 digs for the Spartans.

Las Vegas 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Las Vegas, Tajanae Davis had 10 kills, eight digs and two blocks to lead the Wildcats to a 25-19, 25-13, 25-17 sweep of the Diamondbacks.

Lexia Brockett added 19 assists and 10 digs for the Wildcats.

Madison Norr had nine kills and eight digs, and Casedy Field had nine digs for the Diamondbacks.

Green Valley 3, Liberty 1 — At Liberty, Lana Benson had eight kills and one block, and Carlee Becker finished with 29 assists, six aces and 11 digs as the Gators held off the Patriots, 25-19, 25-20, 23-25, 26-24.

Paige Schultz added five blocks and four digs for Green Valley.

Ashleigh Rodriguez had seven kills, and Tiffany Watkins notched six kills to lead Liberty. Aaliyah Ward added 14 assists and three aces for the Patriots.

Bonanza 3, Durango 0 — At Bonanza, Hayley Huntsman supplied 13 kills, 20 digs, 19 assists and five aces as the Bengals swept the Trailblazers, 25-17, 25-16, 25-15.

Alexa Rodriguez had 19 digs and four kills, and Taryn Warner added eight kills and four blocks for Bonanza.

Mary Patricio contributed five kills and five digs, and Cayla Cooper added 17 digs for Durango.

Moapa Valley 3, Eldorado 1 — At Overton, Shelbi Walker had 10 kills and six aces as the Pirates topped the Sundevils.

Dannika Gordon had seven aces and eight digs for Moapa Valley.

Calvary Chapel 3, Agassi Prep 0 — At Agassi Prep, Olivia Kaiser had 15 kills, and Malia Lee added five kills to lead the Lions past the Stars, 25-14, 25-19, 25-14.

Sara Hernandez had five aces and nine digs, and Mariah Martin finished with 18 assists and three aces for Calvary Chapel.
