GOLF: Goldstein helps Crusaders to Sunset League victory

Morgan Goldstein shot 2-under-par 70 at Las Vegas Municipal on Monday to lead Faith Lutheran's girls golf team to a win in a Sunset League match.

Sydney Smith added a 75, and Olivia Vogel shot 77 for the Crusaders, who had a team score of 303. Clark was second with 360, followed by Sierra Vista with 394 and Pahrump Valley with 418.

Clark's Grace Kang shot 75, and teammate Cassandra Ho added a 78.

Centennial takes Northwest match

At Paiute, Jade Magana carded a 10-over 82 to lead Centennial to victory in a Northwest League match.

Centennial had a team score of 356. Desert Oasis was second with 411, followed by Arbor View with 418.

Desert Oasis' Ashley Malone and Bonanza's Rebecca Oertel shared medalist honors with 74s. Cimarron-Memorial's Rachel Larsen shot 77, and Arbor View's Betsy Branton had an 81.

Pate, Gaels win Southwest match

At Spanish Trail, Hunter Pate took medalist honors with a 2-over 74 and led Bishop Gorman to victory in a Southwest League match.

The Gaels, who had four of the top five finishers, had a team score of 312. Palo Verde was second with 343, followed by Shadow Ridge with 396.

Palo Verde's Annick Hackiewicz shot 76.

Gorman's Danielle Oberlander had a 78, and teammates Sarah James and Megan Orgad each shot 80.

Coronado wins three-team match

At Boulder Creek, Victoria Estrada and Olivia Yamamoto shared medalist honors with 1-over 37s and helped Coronado defeat Green Valley and Boulder City.

The Cougars shot 150 as a team. Green Valley was second at 204, and Boulder City shot 212.

Boulder City's Lani Potter and Coronado's Sami Penor and Ashley Lung each shot 38.
