VOLLEYBALL: Klopfer powers Gators past Bengals

Rachel Klopfer had 35 kills, 14 digs and two aces Thursday as Green Valley's girls volleyball team outlasted visiting Bonanza, 25-17, 18-25, 25-22, 26-28, 15-11.

Carlee Becker added 59 assists and six digs for the Gators, and teammate Lana Benson had 17 kills, four digs and two blocks.

Hayley Huntsman led Bonanza with 10 kills, 29 assists and five aces. Jaycie Johnson added nine kills and two aces for the Bengals.

Virgin Valley 3, Moapa Valley 2 — At Overton, Bernice Fiso had 20 kills and 15 digs to power the Bulldogs over the Pirates, 25-20, 22-25, 19-25, 25-11, 15-10.

Emma Barnum added eight kills and 13 digs, and Janella Fiso had 39 assists and five aces for Virgin Valley.

Shelbi Walker led Moapa Valley with 10 kills, and Dannika Gordon added 13 digs for the Pirates.

Rancho 3, Las Vegas 1 — At Las Vegas, Kayla Coles finished with 13 kills, 16 digs and four aces, and Shaye Robles had 19 assists in the Rams' 25-19, 25-18, 20-25, 25-15 win over the Wildcats.

Serenity Sivongsa had 17 assists, six digs and four aces, and Karime Raygoza added nine kills, nine digs and four aces for Rancho.

Tajanae Davis led Las Vegas with 18 kills, 12 digs and four blocks.

Lexia Brockett had 28 assists, and Kaila Barney tallied 13 digs for the Wildcats.

Boulder City 3, Tech 1 — At Boulder City, Jayden Wood had 19 kills to lead the Eagles past the Roadrunners, 25-17, 24-26, 25-14, 25-15.

Valenia Rolleri had five kills and seven blocks, and Maggie Roe had 11 kills and 11 digs for Boulder City.

Tara Cox had 26 assists and eight aces, and teammate Bayden Huxford added two aces and 24 digs for the Eagles.

Katherine Hernandez had seven kills, two aces, 11 digs and three blocks to lead Tech.

Jasmine Ramos had two aces and eight digs, and Samantha Backman and Elizabeth Ortega each had eight assists for the Roadrunners.

Spring Valley 3, Clark 1 — At Spring Valley, Jessica Rafay had 18 assists and 12 kills, and Danielle Amonica supplied 12 assists, seven digs, seven kills and five aces to lead the Grizzlies to a 24-26, 25-21, 25-15, 25-15 win over the Chargers.

Cashmere Buford had 13 digs, and Mikayla Miller added nine kills for Spring Valley. Taylor Wightman had six digs for the Grizzlies.

Clark's Alexandria Brown had 12 digs and 11 kills, and Angel Jamerson contributed 16 assists and six aces for the Chargers.

Centennial 3, Foothill 0 — At Centennial, Talie Bonds had six kills, six aces, seven digs and 11 assists as the Bulldogs defeated the Falcons, 25-16, 25-23, 25-12.

Gabrielle Neuman added five kills, 12 assists and 10 digs for Centennial, and teammate Kjersten Saunders had 11 digs and two aces.

Natalie Starlin finished with four kills, 14 digs and four aces for the Bulldogs.

Tessa Michalosky led Foothill with seven kills.

Kiley McCall had 10 assists, three aces and six digs for the Falcons, who got three kills from Whitley Brow and six digs from Madison Hill.

Bishop Gorman 3, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Vashti Cunningham had 14 kills to lead the Gaels past the Patriots, 25-11, 25-14, 25-18.

Sydney Lobato had 29 assists, Paige Poggione had six kills, and Lexie Mancini had six kills for Gorman.

Maggie Heim had three kills to lead Liberty, and Pualani Tuika added two kills for the Patriots.

Pahrump Valley 3, Western 0 — At Pahrump Valley, Alexis Trieb had seven kills to lead the Trojans past the Warriors, 25-16, 25-7, 25-9.

Lauren Koenig had five kills and eight digs, Koral Hearn had five kills, and Jill Smith had 16 assists for Pahrump.

Destiny Gonzalez had four kills, 11 digs and two blocks to lead Western.

Faith Lutheran 3, Mojave 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Megan Kronschnabel had five kills, 27 assists, seven aces and six digs to lead the Crusaders to a 25-10, 25-11, 25-20 sweep of the Rattlers.

Sydney Washington had nine kills, and Bobbi Tharaldson had six kills and three aces for Faith Lutheran.

Carissa Limtiaco led Mojave with seven kills and three digs.

Leilani Limtiaco had four kills and four digs, and teammate Sua Estrada had 16 assists and two digs for the Rattlers.

Arbor View 3, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Alyson Jeeves had 24 assists as the Aggies swept the Cowboys, 25-10, 25-6, 25-9.

Hannah Goddard added 12 kills for Arbor View.

Sierra Vista 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Shantalle Demirijian had eight kills, two aces and four blocks to lead the Mountain Lions past the Desert Shields, 25-15, 25-14, 25-21.

Faith Gray-Williams had 19 assists, two aces and three digs for Sierra Vista.

Eryuan McJoy had three kills and two blocks, and Karina Toro added three aces for Cheyenne.

Coronado 3, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Cali Thompson had 40 assists and 10 digs to lead the Cougars to a 25-18, 25-18, 25-16 win over the Mustangs.

Carolyn Andrulis supplied 11 kills and 10 digs, and Madison Karcich had eight kills and six digs for Coronado.

Nikki Johnson contributed seven kills and five digs for the Cougars.

Whitnee Nihipali led Shadow Ridge with 11 kills and eight digs.

Lincoln County 2-0, Calvary Chapel 0-2 — At Calvary Chapel, Malia Lee had five kills and three blocks in the second match as the host Lions defeated the Lynx 25-19, 26-24 to earn a split.

Mariah Martin added nine assists, and Lexi Davis had 10 digs and three aces for Calvary Chapel.

Hannah Hafen led Lincoln County with six kills and six digs. Chesnee Harding added 11 assists, 12 digs and four aces for the Lynx.

Bridon Lewis had nine kills as Lincoln County won the opener, 25-22, 25-19.

Harding added 14 assists and five digs, and Hafen had five kills and four digs for the Lynx.
