TENNIS: Pappas helps Silverado boys edge Las Vegas

Ryan Pappas went 3-0 in singles Monday to help Silverado's boys tennis team to a 10-8 win at Las Vegas.
The Wildcats' doubles teams of Trey Chauncey and Kyle Monton, and Jonathan Sosa and Trevor Christiansen both went 3-0.
Cimarron-Memorial 10, Rancho 9 — At Cimarron, the Spartans swept the nine doubles sets and won 4 of 6 tiebreaker games to nip the Rams.
The doubles teams of Noah Loeffler and Adrianne Lopez, Mark Adriatico and Diego Machado, and Diego Cardoso and Trevor Huntly each went 3-0 for Cimarron.
Rancho's Tanner Albright was 3-0 in singles.
Centennial 12, Arbor View 6 — At Centennial, Benjamin Siegel went 3-0 in singles to lead the Bulldogs past the Aggies.
Justin Madsen was 2-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Raul Saucedo and Jaeger Perkins also went 2-0 for Centennial.
Jesse Vogel went 2-1 in singles, and the doubles team of Treven Clizbe and Brenden Wagner also went 2-1 for Arbor View.
Desert Pines 12, Basic 6 — At Desert Pines, Oscar Murillo went 3-0 in singles to lead the Jaguars over the Wolves.
Thomas Romero and Trever Berg went 3-0 in doubles for Basic.
The Meadows 13, Sierra Vista 5 — At The Meadows, the doubles teams of Ryan Chang and Brian Capp, and Edward Rastgoo and Joseph Coronel each went 3-0 to lead the Mustangs by the Mountain Lions.
Desert Oasis 13, Bonanza 5 — At Bonanza, the doubles teams of Ben Gajardo and Devin Heiman, and Clarenz Velasco and Carl Yu each went 3-0 to lead the Diamondbacks past the Bengals.
Weston Clark was 3-0 in singles for Bonanza.
Liberty 12, Canyon Springs 0 — At Liberty, the Patriots won by forfeit.
Valley 12, Western 0 — At Valley, the Vikings won by forfeit.
Mojave 12, Cheyenne 0 — At Mojave, the Rattlers won by forfeit.
GIRLS
Centennial 11, Arbor View 7 — At Centennial, the doubles teams of Allison Thomas and Makenzie Edwards, and Madison Dobbs and Macie Stratton each went 3-0 as the Bulldogs defeated the Aggies.
Devin Diesko was 3-0 in singles for Arbor View.
Silverado 11, Las Vegas 7 — At Las Vegas, Megan Lopez and Tiffany Theophil each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Skyhawks by the Wildcats.
The doubles teams of Criszelle Castro and Lyric Ciarlo, and Dani Angelo and Paige Lee each went 2-0 for Silverado.
Desert Pines 12, Basic 6 — At Desert Pines, Ashley Palacios went 3-0 in singles as the Jaguars defeated the Wolves.
Desert Pines' doubles teams of Veronica Palacios and Dori Harper, was Shelly Alvarado and Cecilia Garcia-Leon both went 3-0.
Mojave 12, Cheyenne 6 — At Mojave, Miranda Sanders and Nina Dreyer went 2-0 in doubles to lead the Rattlers past the Desert Shields.
Gabi Denton went 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Cierra McFarland and Tiffany Tolliver went 2-1 for Cheyenne.
Rancho 13, Cimarron-Memorial 5 — At Cimarron, Rancho's doubles teams of Katrina Hutchinson and Megan Sloan, and Maiyah Norton and Destiny Trujeque went 3-0 to lead the Rams over the Spartans.
Cimarron's Justine Felix went 3-0 in singles.
The Meadows 14, Sierra Vista 4 — At The Meadows, the Mustangs downed the Mountain Lions.
Andrada Stancia was 3-0 in singles for Sierra Vista.
Bonanza 16, Desert Oasis 2 — At Bonanza, Julia Labrenz went 3-0 in singles to lead the Bengals past the Diamondbacks.
The doubles teams of Caroline Thuet and Abby Lords, and Emmalee Glover and Brittany Bates each went 3-0 for Bonanza.
Liberty 17, Canyon Springs 1 — At Liberty, Parker Burk was 3-0 in singles to help the Patriots down the Pioneers.
Valley 18, Western 0 — At Valley, the Vikings blanked the Warriors.
