Outlook: Laughlin had a tough time in Division III last season, losing by an average of 37.9 points a game.
The Cougars, now under first-year coach Hemingway, look to improve with the return of several upperclassmen.
Furr is back at quarterback, and appears to be well-protected behind seniors Estes and Staples.
Estes was selected on the All-Southern League second team on offense last season. He also made the first team for defense.
Coffey and Stevens will continue to wreak havoc on the defensive line, with Abatti cleaning up the mess at linebacker.
"We keep preaching family and togetherness," Hemingway said. "We will work hard and play power football."
