BOYS TRACK: Feleke takes three events as Mountain Lions top host Pirates

Kidus Feleke won three individual events Tuesday to help Sierra Vista’s boys track team to a 91-55 win over host Moapa Valley in Overton.
Feleke won the 800-meter run in 2 minutes, 25.5 seconds and took the 1,600 (5:13.35) and 3,200 (11:50.76).
The Mountain Lions’ Andrew Peterson won the 100 (11.55) and 200 (23.27), and teammate Enrico Jackson took the long jump with an effort of 19 feet, 1 inch and the triple jump with a mark of 38-10½.
The Pirates’ R.J. Hubert was first in the 110 hurdles (15.82), the 300 hurdles (45.39) and the high jump (5-6), and teammate Hunter Soderquist took the shot put (40-2) and discus (124-10½).
Diamondbacks top Bonanza
At Bonanza, Seth Scoville won two events to help Desert Oasis to a 94-56 win over the Bengals.
Scoville took the long jump with an effort of 19-0 and won the triple jump with a mark of 40-1½.
Zach Wood won the 200 in 23.5 and took second in the 1,600 for the Diamondbacks.
Gaels win four-team meet
At Bishop Gorman, Haskell Garrett, Jacob Holland and Tyjon Lindsey each won two events to help the Gaels to victory in a four-team meet.
Garrett won the shot put (45-1) and discus (137-2). Lindsay won the 100 in 11.42 and the 300 hurdles in 39.42. Holland won the 800 in 2:06.97 and the 3,200 in 11:24.39.
The Gaels had 143 points. Shadow Ridge was second with 90.75, followed by Spring Mountain with 25.75 and Quest Academy with 7.5.
Bulldogs down Cimarron
At Centennial, Romello Milton won two individual events and was part of a winning relay team to help the Bulldogs to an 83-33 win over Cimarron-Memorial.
Milton won the 100 in 10.6 and the long jump with an effort of 20-10½ and was part of the winning 400 relay team.
Chargers win six-team meet
At Pahrump, Marquise Patterson swept the hurdle events to help Clark win a six-team meet.
Patterson won the 110 hurdles in 16.0 and the 300 hurdles in 44.9 to help the Chargers to a total of 163 points. Pahrump Valley was second with 152.39, and Western took third with 98.8.
The Trojans’ Bryce Odegard won the 1,600 in 5:02.5 and the 3,200 in 13:55.
Western’s Kenric Davis took the 100 (10.7) and 200 (22.0), and teammate Kwan Carter won the long jump (20-2) and triple jump (37-3).
