WRESTLING: Trojans overwhelm Chargers with 10 pins

Jonathan Corrow and Nick Nelson each pinned their opponent in less than 30 seconds Friday to lead Pahrump Valley’s wrestling team to a 64-16 win over visiting Clark.

Corrow won his 182-pound match in 22 seconds, and Nelson took 25 seconds to win at 132.

Joseph Zaraboza (106), Gino Gusman (120), Antonio Sandoval (126), Levi Gundacker (138), Sam Brophy (145), Jaxon Clayton (195), Jeremy Coates (220) and Jace Clayton (285) also won by fall for the Trojans.

Clark’s Foday Konjan had the night’s quickest pin, winning in 14 seconds at 113.

Osvaldo Galvez (160) also had a pin for the Chargers.

Boulder City 58, Durango 21 — At Boulder City, Collin Fox (126), Dustin Edlund (220) and Jack Rozycki (285) each had a pin to lead the Eagles over the Trailblazers.

Durango’s Daniel Caswell (120), Donzae Jones (132) and Victor Ramirez (138) also won by fall.
