Outlook: Wieger (7-1, 2.19 ERA, 48 innings, 44 strikeouts), Kealoha (.400, 20 RBIs) and Barnhart (.298, 18 RBIs) are among only four returning lettermen for the Rams, who have six freshmen on the team.
“The Rams will have a tough year replacing seven seniors that moved on,” Pletsch said. “Andrew Wieger will lead the way on the mound, and Zach Barnhart and Kavion Kealoha are the lone returning starters.
“The Rams will count heavily on younger players. We will definitely be better at the end of the year than at the beginning. The Rams hope to make the playoffs.”
