GOLF: Trent helps Palo Verde boys top Coronado

Jack Trent shot an even-par 36 at TPC Las Vegas on Tuesday to lead Palo Verde’s boys golf team to a 190-198 win over Coronado.

Bradley Collet, Spencer Collet and Cameron Barzekoff each shot 37 for the Panthers.

Coronado’s Grant McKay was the medalist with a 35.

Haun, Crusaders down Gaels

At Canyon Gate, Dallas Haun shot a 1-under-35 to lead Faith Lutheran to a 193-202 win over Bishop Gorman.

Robert Gabour and Mitch Conley each added a 37 for the Crusaders.

Christian James led Gorman with a 35.

Gators top Diamondbacks

At Legacy, Mason Comastro shot a 3-over 39 to lead Green Valley to a 208-229 win over Desert Oasis.

Jeff Mullins added a 40, and Ty Klabacka shot 41 for the Gators.

Syouta Wakisaka led Desert Oasis with a 39.

Wolves edge Eagles

At Boulder Creek, Brayden Weaver shot 1-under 35 to lead Basic to a 195-200 win over Boulder City.

J.D. Ebert added a 37 for the Wolves.

Boulder City’s Luke Logan was the medalist with a 34, and Hunter Ulibarri added a 39 for the Eagles.
