GIRLS SOCCER: Villa’s goal gives Mustangs win over Panthers

Samantha Villa’s first-half goal Tuesday accounted for all of the scoring as Shadow Ridge’s girls soccer team held off visiting Palo Verde, 1-0.
Jenna Gallagher made five saves to record the shutout for the Mustangs.
Desert Pines 2, Boulder City 0 — At Desert Pines, Mariyah Espinoza scored two second-half goals to lead the Jaguars over the Eagles.
Martha Gandarilla made five saves to earn the shutout.
Moapa Valley 2, Chaparral 1 — At Chaparral, Bailey Bunker and Alexis Schraft each had a goal as the Pirates topped the Cowboys.
Leticia Ibarra scored for Chaparral.
Virgin Valley 0, Tech 0 — At Heritage Park, the Bulldogs and Roadrunners played to a scoreless tie.
Virgin Valley’s Spencer Green made eight saves.
Tech’s Estephania Perez didn’t face a shot on goal.
Legacy 2, Durango 2 — At Durango, Claire Singleton’s second-half goal allowed the Longhorns to tie the Trailblazers.
Emma Singleton also scored for Legacy.
Alyssa Nunez scored twice for Durango.
Green Valley 2, Foothill 2 — At Foothill, Alexis Kirson scored twice to help the Gators tie the Falcons.
Allison Stubberud and Jillian Vigil scored for Foothill.
Eldorado 4, Rancho 0 — At Eldorado, Cristal Mendoza had a goal and two assists to lead the Sundevils over the Rams.
Madison Granger added a goal and two assists, and Christina Gewerth also scored for Eldorado.
Alyana Castillo made seven saves en route to the shutout.
Sunrise Mountain 7, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Briana Torres scored three goals as the Miners routed the Dragons.
Brisa Pena-Martinez scored twice, and Xitaly Manzo and Leslie Guzman each added a goal for Sunrise Mountain, which got two assists from Leslie Arellanos.
Joselina Sosa made four saves to earn the shutout.
Coronado 11, Basic 1 — At Basic, Michaela Morris had five goals and three assists as the Cougars rolled past the Wolves.
Ashley Thomas added two goals and an assist, and Chynna Zurflueh, Alexis Schuck, Abby Brown and Arianna Sanford each added a goal for Coronado.
Nichelle Gittisriboongul scored for Basic.
