BOYS SOCCER: Perkins’ hat trick lifts Grizzlies

Tyson Perkins scored three goals in a three-minute span midway through the second half Wednesday to lead Spring Valley’s boys soccer team to a 3-0 win at Pahrump Valley.

Stanislov Kopic and Ethan Harper combined on the shutout for the Grizzlies.

Canyon Springs 2, Liberty 1 — At Liberty, Daniel Moran and Nathan Eshleman each scored once to help the Pioneers nip the Patriots.

Joey Hollimon scored for Liberty.

Western 3, Mojave 2 — At Western, Alonso Campos-Martinez and Nathaniel Reyes scored two early second-half goals as the Warriors held off the Rattlers.

Ricardo Gonzalez also scored for Western.

Eduardo Luna and Antonio Perez scored for Mojave.

Sierra Vista 1, Cheyenne 1 — At Cheyenne, Zekarias Kassaye scored with 15 minutes remaining to allow the Mountain Lions to tie the Desert Shields.

Chase Castro scored early in the second half for Cheyenne.

Arbor View 2, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, James Drye had a goal and an assist to lead the Aggies by the Diamondbacks.

Tyler Wallace also scored for Arbor View.

Sergio Gonzalez had seven saves en route to the shutout.

Clark 3, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Clark, Oscar Mata scored twice to lead the Chargers to a win over the Crusaders.

Jose Martinez also scored for Clark.

Ramon Ramirez made one save to record the shutout.

Cimarron-Memorial 7, Bonanza 2 — At Cimarron, Ernan Hernandez had three goals and an assist to send the Spartans past the Bengals.

Garrick Quackenbush had a goal and two assists, and Gustavo Garcia added a goal and an assist for Cimarron. Parker Johnson and Danny Ceja also scored for the Spartans.

Manuel Ponce scored twice for Bonanza.
