Outlook: The Longhorns took some lumps last season, in large part due to a schedule that featured three state champions and a state semifinalist.
With eight lettermen back, they’re hoping for better results.
“We are looking to take the experience from last year, learn from it and return to the winning ways of the prior three seasons,” Tarango said. “We will use our defensive intensity and athleticism to compete in one of, if not the toughest, league in Nevada.”
