BOYS BASKETBALL: Burton, Vikings edge Falcons

Cameron Burton poured in 32 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter, to lead Valley’s boys basketball team to a 67-63 win at Foothill on Tuesday.
Shea Garland supplied 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Vikings.
Torrance Littles had 20 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks to lead the Falcons, who got 13 points from Colin Curi.
Durango 60, Desert Oasis 58 — At Desert Oasis, Alex Tarkanian scored 15 points, and the Trailblazers used a 25-15 fourth-quarter run to nip the Diamondbacks.
Apollo Corley and Victor Ross each had 14 points, and Demetrius Valdez added 10 points for Durango.
Aamonda Coleman led Desert Oasis with 19 points. Taiga Miyano added 15 points, and Rodrick Moore scored 11 for Diamondbacks.
Coronado 68, Bonanza 40 — At Coronado, Travis Boman had 15 points and 12 rebounds, and Nick Kornieck added 14 points and eight rebounds as the Cougars downed the Bengals.
Jake Desjardins supplied nine points and nine rebounds for Coronado, which led 36-22 at halftime.
Jamal Logan scored 14 points, and DaVonta Price added 11 points for Bonanza.
Rancho 68, Silverado 50 — At Rancho, Lamont Traylor had 14 points and 10 rebounds to guide the Rams past the Skyhawks.
David McKeever scored 13 points, and Ciriman Keita had 12 points for Rancho, which outscored Silverado 39-18 in the middle quarters.
Michael Larson had 18 points to lead the Skyhawks.
Legacy 69, Cimarron-Memorial 57 — At Cimarron, Christian Solis had 28 points to help the Longhorns down the Spartans.
Brody Olenslager added 17 points, and Shakir Arrey scored 10 for Legacy.
Terrell Walker had 15 points and 15 rebounds to lead Cimarron. Kieron Hatchett added 12 points, and Demarco Alexander scored 10 for the Spartans.
Shadow Ridge 64, Eldorado 53 — At Eldorado, the Mustangs outscored the Sundevils 29-15 in the fourth quarter to pull out the win.
Jerell Springer scored 14 points to lead Shadow Ridge. Brett Meci (13 points), Preston Echols (11 points) and Brian Freeman (10 points) also scored in double figures for Shadow Ridge.
Carl Crayon scored 19 points for Eldorado, which led 38-35 after three quarters.
Centennial 90, Liberty 69 — At Centennial, Troy Brown had 17 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists to lead the Bulldogs past the Patriots.
Darrian Traylor scored 14 points, and Dominic Jackson-Anasson added 12 points for Centennial, which sprinted to a 54-29 halftime lead.
Tai Senor scored 20 points to lead Liberty, which also got 14 points from Ed O’Bannon and 11 points from Errol Newman.
Bishop Gorman 79, Faith Lutheran 48 — At Gorman, Chase Jeter scored 22 points, and Stephen Zimmerman provided 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Gaels downed the Crusaders.
Zach Collins added 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Richie Thornton dished out eight assists for Gorman, which jumped to a 23-10 first quarter lead.
Zach Friel led Faith Lutheran with 12 points. John Molchon added 10 points, and teammate Blake Bell finished with eight points and eight assists for the Crusaders.
Palo Verde 56, Arbor View 31 — At Palo Verde, Grant Dressler poured in 16 points to lead the Panthers past the Aggies.
Ja Morgan scored 11 points, and Taylor Miller added 10 points for Palo Verde, which led 32-11 at the half.
Trent Hunt scored 11 points to lead Arbor View.
Canyon Springs 82, Basic 46 — At Basic, Jordan Davis led all scorers with 25 points as the Pioneers ran by the Wolves.
D’Quan Crockett added 12 points for Canyon Springs, which led 47-13 at halftime.
Robert Sutton and Matthew Esplin each scored eight points for Basic.
Mountain View 46, Moapa Valley 41 — At Mountain View, Tevin Gray had 16 points, three assists and three steals, and Connor LeBoeuf added 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Saints past the Pirates.
The game was tied 26-26 after three quarters, but Mountain View went 11-for-13 from the free-throw line in the fourth to seal the victory. The Saints were 18-for-24 from the foul line overall.
Jay Mortensen lead Moapa Valley with 11 points, while Dalton Gordon and Andrew Huerta added 10 points apiece. Huerta had three 3-pointers.
Agassi Prep 49, Lake Mead 48 — At Agassi Prep, Darius Coaxum tallied 13 points and 12 rebounds to help the Stars nip the Eagles.
Kenneth Hatano added 13 points for Agassi Prep, which led 29-14 at halftime.
Dylan Graham scored 26 points for Lake Mead.
Spring Mountain 64, Indian Springs 19 — At Indian Springs, Tre’Vion Glover scored 16 points, and the Golden Eagles used a 35-6 run in the middle two quarters to rout the Thunderbirds.
Steve Jones added 10 points for Spring Mountain.
Gabe Brownotter led Indian Springs with six points.
Needles 70, Laughlin 53 — At Needles, Calif., Cody Tobler had 25 points and 11 rebounds, and Trenton Poe-Evans supplied 23 points and 11 rebounds as the Mustangs dispatched the Cougars.
Victor Ochoa added 11 points, and Derek Wagstaff had eight assists for Needles.
Corey Anderson scored 27 points, and Michael Bishop had 10 points to lead Laughlin.
Sandy Valley 2, Baker (Calif.) 0 — At Sandy Valley, the Sidewinders won by forfeit.
