GIRLS BASKETBALL: Siaki’s game-winning free throw lifts Skyhawks

Deja Siaki scored 14 points, including the game-winning free throw in the final 20 seconds, on Friday to help Silverado’s girls basketball team edge visiting Clark, 39-38.

Clark’s Bobbi Floyd, who led all scorers with 26 points, tied the game with 25 seconds left, but the Chargers fouled Siaki on the ensuing possession.

Siaki hit 1 of 2 free throws.

Clark missed two open shots before time expired.

Monet Salazar had 11 points for the Skyhawks.

Arbor View 66, Basic 37 — At Arbor View, Ariona Gill had 20 points, seven rebounds and four steals to lead the Aggies past the Wolves.

Mikala Cvijanovich added 10 points for Arbor View, which led 30-22 at halftime.

Dana Deloney scored 15 points to lead Basic.

Chaparral 53, Sierra Vista 29 — At Chaparral, Taij Criss-Felton had 16 points, and Marcia Hawkins added 14 points as the Cowboys beat the Mountain Lions.

Abigail Delgado had 10 points for Chaparral, which outscored Sierra Vista 27-9 in the second half.

Kennedy Nieves led the Mountain Lions with 11 points.

Spring Valley 75, Cheyenne 35 — At Cheyenne, Essence Booker scored 34 points to help the Grizzlies cruise past the Desert Shields.

Kayla Harris added 20 points for Spring Valley.

Kaylan Finley and Bria Buchanan scored eight points apiece to lead Cheyenne.

Centennial 69, Durango 42 — At Centennial, Karina Brandon had 12 points and 10 rebounds to help the Bulldogs down the Trailblazers.

Justice Ethridge scored 18 points, and Pam Wilmore added 11 points for Centennial.

Jazmin Chavez led Durango with 15 points. Vonie Thomas added 13 points, and Aylin Ponce scored 10 for the Trailblazers.

Del Sol 36, Pahrump Valley 30 — At Del Sol, Alina Marruffo hit 4 of 6 free throws in overtime and finished with 12 points to lead the Dragons by the Trojans.

Shayla Dance led Pahrump with 10 points.

Desert Oasis 42, Chinle (Ariz.) 39 — At Flagstaff, Ariz., Mikala Kirby had 20 points and seven rebounds to help the Diamondbacks edge the Wildcats in the quarterfinals of the Pepsi Holiday Tournament.

Taryn Lampkin added nine points for Desert Oasis.

D’Meara Yazzie led Chinle with 17 points.

American Fork (Utah) 64, Foothill 61 — At Bishop Gorman, Taylor Moeaki and Paige Farnsworth each scored 13 points as the Cavemen edged the Falcons in the Las Vegas Invitational.

Taylor Turney led all scorers with 18 points for Foothill.

Dixie (Utah) 50, Moapa Valley 39 — At Overton, Alexa Estridge scored 21 points to lead the Flyers by the Pirates.

Kyla Shumway led Moapa Valley with 13 points.

Needles 41, The Meadows 31 — At The Meadows, Jane Antone scored 14 points to lead Needles by The Meadows.

Bailey Gosse had 13 points, and Delaney Gosse scored 10 for The Meadows, which also got seven points and 12 rebounds from Cassidy Gosse.

Lincoln County 56, Lake Mead 25 — At Lake Mead, Kristal Jackson, Savannah Harr and Hannah Hafen each had 10 points as the Lynx topped the Eagles.

Savannah Schmidt led Lake Mead with 18 points.

White Pine 56, Mountain View 33 — At Mountain View, Debra Kingston had 12 points, and Ashlyn Huntington scored 10 as the Bobcats downed the Saints.

Kiley Murphy had 19 points, and Rose Adkins scored 11 for Mountain View.

Agassi Prep 47, Calvary Chapel 26 — At Agassi Prep, the Stars downed the Lions.
