TENNIS: Wyson, Arteaga lift Silverado girls over Cimarron

Jenna Wyson and Samantha Arteaga went 3-0 in doubles, including the clinching point in the third round on Wednesday to lead Silverado’s girls tennis team to a 10-8 home win over Cimarron-Memorial.
Cydnie Hardy and Alexis Koogler were 2-0 in doubles, and Megan Lopez was 2-0 in singles for the Skyhawks, who led 9-3 after two rounds.
Justine Felix was 2-1 in singles for the Spartans.
Palo Verde 16, Liberty 2 — At Palo Verde, Kristen Newell was 3-0 in singles as the Panthers downed the Patriots.
Annie Walker went 2-0 in singles, and Tia Okano and Michaela Jackson were 2-0 in doubles for Palo Verde.
Foothill 10, Basic 8 — At Basic, Morgan Hawkins and Emily Campbell each went 3-0 in singles to help the Falcons nip the Wolves.
Winnie Feng and Rachel Snyder were 3-0 in doubles for Basic.
Coronado 11, Eldorado 7 — At Eldorado, Camille Solla went 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Alexandra Doherty and Mina McCormick was 3-0 as the Cougars beat the Sundevils.
Nikoletta Nikoloff was 2-0 in singles for Coronado.
Cheyenne Delicate was 2-1 in singles, and the doubles team of Avery Swain and Kristie Thomas went 2-1 for Eldorado.
Green Valley 15, Rancho 3 — At Rancho, Megan Madrid was 3-0 in singles to lead the Gators by the Rams.
Ksantia Ilipolus and Racquel Holder each went 2-0 in singles for Green Valley.
Bonanza 12, Valley 6 — At Valley, Lauren Smith and Emma Nelson each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Bengals to victory over the Vikings.
Megan Jones and Olivia Jensen were 2-1 in doubles to lead Valley.
Legacy 11, Canyon Springs 7 — At Legacy, Avi’Ana Shelton and Maryan Montgomery went 3-0 in doubles to help the Longhorns top the Pioneers.
The doubles teams of Loren Jensen and Taylor Berkabile, and Kaylea Shepherd and Sydnee Christensen both went 2-0 for Legacy.
Celia Plyman and Abigail Emperado each went 3-0 in singles for Canyon Springs.
Arbor View 14, Las Vegas 4 — At Las Vegas, Chaise Sandoval and Nicolette D’Arienzo went 3-0 in doubles to help the Aggies top the Wildcats.
Devin Diesko and Catherine Arizmendez each went 2-1 in singles for Arbor View.
Karla Torrez was 3-0 in singles for Las Vegas.
Desert Oasis 11, Durango 7 — At Durango, Stephanie Parlade went 3-0 in singles to lead the Diamondbacks past the Trailblazers.
Brittany Gomez and Gabrielle Leynes were 3-0 in doubles for Durango.
Centennial 13, Shadow Ridge 5 — At Shadow Ridge, Kaitlin McDaniel went 2-0 in singles to help the Bulldogs top the Mustangs.
Keilani Kimoto and Forrest Warner-McRoy went 2-0 in doubles for Centennial.
Del Sol 12, Western 0 — At Western, the Dragons won by forfeit.

Palo Verde 13, Liberty 5 — At Palo Verde, Teijiro Nishimura and Kota Cook went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Panthers by the Patriots.
Conor Safbom and Brandon Sulzberg were 2-0 in doubles for Palo Verde.
Liberty’s Dylan Ihmels was 3-0 in singles.
Valley 10, Bonanza 9 — At Valley, Chase Fayeghi and Alex Gustillo went 2-0 in doubles as the Vikings nipped the Bengals on a tiebreaker.
The teams split the 18 regulation sets, and each team won three of the six 12-point tiebreakers, but Valley outscored Bonanza 28-22 in points during the tiebreakers to secure the win.
Andy Stephenson and Cyrus Nelson each went 3-0 in singles for Bonanza.
Basic 10, Foothill 8 — At Basic, the doubles teams of Tanner Roundy and Thomas Romero, and Logan Green and Trever Berg both went 3-0 to lead the Wolves by the Falcons.
Teodor Drabicki and Kirk Peralta both went 3-0 in singles for Foothill.
Las Vegas 10, Arbor View 8 — At Las Vegas, Shean Brunner and Jonathon Sosa went 3-0 in doubles, and Paul Swenson and Michael Cavada were 2-0 in doubles as the Wildcats edged the Aggies.
Kyle Monton and Trevor Christiansen went 2-1 in doubles, and Trey Chauncey was 2-1 in singles for Las Vegas.
Ashton Arizmendez was 3-0 in singles for Arbor View.

Ainsley Osawa was 3-0 in singles to lead Western.
Desert Oasis 13, Durango 5 — At Durango, Bryce Tacker went 3-0 in singles to help the Diamondbacks down the Trailblazers.
Nikola Zelenovic and Dylan Olivier went 3-0 in doubles for Durango.
