BOYS SOCCER: Sundevils top Roadrunners in matchup of state champions

Israel Hernandez and Alexis Soto each had a goal and an assist Tuesday to help Eldorado’s boys soccer team defeat visiting Tech, 4-0 in a battle of last year’s state champions in Division I and I-A.

Eddie Mercardo and Darwin Vidales added a goal apiece for the Sundevils, and teammate Omar Pedraza made seven saves to earn the shutout.

Las Vegas 3, Palo Verde 2 — At Las Vegas, Efrain Pinal, Yanni Rivas and Alexis Barrios each scored once to help the Wildcats edge the Panthers.

Nolan Sherwood and Jaden Ketelsen each scored for Palo Verde.

Cimarron-Memorial 2, Silverado 1 — At Cimarron, Chilo Sanchez and Erick Cuevas each scored once as the Spartans overcame an early deficit to top the Skyhawks.

Silverado’s Chris Stang scored just two minutes into the match.

Liberty 2, Durango 1 — At Liberty, Joey Holliman scored twice to lift the Patriots by the Trailblazers.

Adriel Lera scored for Durango.

Legacy 1, Centennial 1 — At Centennial, Jose Ramirez scored to help the Longhorns earn a tie with the Bulldogs.

Bishop Gorman 3, Chaparral 0 — At Gorman, Matt Fike had a goal and an assist to help the Gaels defeat the Cowboys.

Jake Bickford and Zak Pignatello also scored for Gorman.

Goalkeeper Austin Mack had two saves to earn the shutout for the Gaels.

Shadow Ridge 3, Arbor View 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Jack Guynn, Robert Tschogl and Alex Pacheco each scored once to lead the Mustangs by the Aggies.

Matt Camacho supplied two assists, and Nathan Kramer recorded a two-save shutout for Shadow Ridge.

Valley 4, Desert Oasis 1 — At Desert Oasis, Eric Sanchez had two goals and two assists to help the Vikings roll past the Diamondbacks.

Marco Gonzales also scored two goals for Valley.

Ivan Biorato scored for Desert Oasis.

Canyon Springs 6, Bonanza 3 — At Bonanza, Gaspar Gonzalez had two goals and an assist, and Jose Gonzalez added a goal and an assist to help the Pioneers beat the Bengals.

Ivan Adame, Adolfo Romero and Juan Covarrubias all scored for Canyon Springs, and teammate Luis Macias supplied two assists.

Bryan Panameno scored three goals for Bonanza.
