TENNIS: Sierra Vista boys top Western at home

Ethan Lancanienta and Daniel Vekanovic went 3-0 in doubles Tuesday to help Sierra Vista’s boys tennis team to a 13-5 win over visiting Western.

Ainsley Osawa was 3-0 in singles for the Warriors.

Faith Lutheran 13, Mojave 5 — At Mojave, Donovan Evangelio and Kylar Sommers went 2-0 in doubles to help the Crusaders top the Rattlers.

Christian Collins was 3-0 in singles for Mojave.

Las Vegas 14, Silverado 4 — At Las Vegas, Benjamin Bowen went 3-0 in singles to help the Wildcats cruise past the Skyhawks.

Levi Schleuning and Ryan Pappas each went 2-1 in singles for Silverado.

Arbor View 14, Bonanza 4 — At Arbor View, Nevin Ly, Alec Kline and Ashton Arizmendez each finished 3-0 in singles to lead the Aggies past the Bengals.

Andy Stephenson and Cyrus Nelson went 3-0 in doubles for Bonanza.

Palo Verde 14, The Meadows 4 — At Palo Verde, Rhett Bossung and Danny Patho each went 2-0 in singles to help the Panthers rout the Mustangs.

Spring Valley 16, Adelson School 2 — At Spring Valley, Marvin Boyd went 3-0 in singles to help the Grizzlies roll past the Lions.

Centennial 17, Cimarron-Memorial 1 — At Cimarron, Raul Saucedo, Noah Siegle and Connor Paul all went 2-0 in singles as the Bulldogs defeated the Spartans.

Liberty 12, Canyon Springs 0 — At Liberty, the Patriots won by forfeit.

GIRLS

Bonanza 11, Arbor View 7 — At Arbor View, Lauren Smith was 3-0 in singles to propel the Bengals to victory over the Aggies.

Phoebe Nelson and Shally Matlovic were 2-0 in doubles for Bonanza.

Centennial 13, Cimarron-Memorial 5 — At Cimarron, Miranda Bolick and Alyssa Lourenco went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Bulldogs by the Spartans.

Kaitlin McDaniel was 2-0 in singles for Centennial.

Justine Felix was 2-1 in singles for Cimarron.

Silverado 14, Las Vegas 4 — At Las Vegas, Megan Lopez went 3-0 in singles to lead the Skyhawks past the Wildcats.

Criszelle Castro and Lyric Ciarlo each went 2-1 in singles to help Silverado.

Karla Torrez went 2-1 in singles for Las Vegas.

Sierra Vista 14, Western 4 — At Sierra Vista, Averiana Mitchell went 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Savannah Englehart and Dina Nguyen went 3-0 as the Mountain Lions downed the Warriors.

Faith Lutheran 14, Mojave 4 — At Mojave, Paige Erlanger and Kathleen Wright each went 2-0 in singles to help the Crusaders top the Rattlers.

Sophia Longi and Maya Rawls were 2-0 in doubles for Faith Lutheran.

Nattaporn Thompson was 2-1 in singles for Mojave.

Spring Valley 16, Adelson School 2 — At Spring Valley, Sarah Estenson and Judy Hodge each went 2-0 in singles to help the Grizzlies down the Lions.

Nicole Boeddeker and Guadalupe Gomez went 2-0 in doubles for Spring Valley.

Liberty 17, Canyon Springs 1 — At Liberty, Parker Burk was 3-0 in singles as the Patriots topped the Pioneers.

Palo Verde 14, The Meadows 4 — At Palo Verde, the Panthers topped the Mustangs.
