BOYS GOLF: Comastro helps Gators win Northeast League match

Mason Comastro shot a 6-over-par 78 at Stallion Mountain on Monday to lead Green Valley’s boys golf team to victory in a Northeast League match.

The Gators had a team score of 425. Las Vegas was second at 474, followed by Silverado at 542 and Canyon Springs at 555.

Las Vegas’ Trey Jensen and Phoutpane Souksengdao shared medalist honors with 77s.

Crusaders take Sunset League match

At Canyon Gate, Mitch Conley shot 2-over 74 to lead Faith Lutheran to the team title in a Sunset League match.

Charlie Magruder added a 76, and Dallas Haun carded an 80 for Faith Lutheran, which shot 394 as a team.

Pahrump Valley (455) was second and Cheyenne (516) third.

Pahrump’s Derek Moore was fourth individually at 81.
