BOYS TRACK: Hemingway, Shelton help Eldorado edge Foothill

Eldorado’s Marcel Hemingway and Ta’Varea Shelton each won two events Wednesday to give the Sundevils a 75.5-66.5 victory at Foothill.
Hemingway took the long jump with a mark of 18 feet, ½-inch and ran the 200-meter dash in 23.1 seconds.
Shelton won the 110- and 300-meter hurdles in 16.9 and 42.7.
Foothill’s Dylan Weasa won the shot put (47-6) and the discus (125-6).
Raybon, Wildcats top Vikings
At Las Vegas, Tyshon Raybon was the lone-double winner as the Wildcats rolled to a 104-49 victory over Valley.
Raybon won the high jump (5-10) and also took first in the triple jump (39-7).
Skyhawks top Rams
At Rancho, Cody Hudson won both hurdles to lead Silverado to a 94-51 win over the Rams.
Hudson won the 110 hurdles in 16.34, and the 300 hurdles in 42.84.
Gators win three-team meet
At Canyon Springs, Ian Mack and Brady Williams each won two events to help Green Valley win a three-team meet.
Mack won the 100 (10.6) and 200 (21.9), and Williams swept the throws with a mark of 150-9 in the discus and 51-10½ in the shot put as the Gators finished with 135 points.
Canyon Springs (51) was second, and Indian Springs (4) third.
Demarcus Walker won the 110 hurdles (14.6) and 300 hurdles (37.4) for the Pioneers.
Peterson, Mountain Lions edge Grizzlies
At Sierra Vista, Andrew Peterson won the 100 (10.7) an 200 (23.8) to help the host Mountain Lions to victory in a three-team meet.
Sierra Vista edged Spring Valley 81-79. The Meadows finished with 21.
Spring Valley’s Romello Blanton-Wade won the long jump (20-4) and triple jump (42-1). Mark Woodson won the shot put (45-6¼) and discus (119-2) for The Meadows.
Boulder City wins four-team meet
At Clark, Garrett Meyer won the 1600 in 4:40.8 and the high jump by clearing 5-6 to help Boulder City win a four-team meet.
The Eagles had 96 points. Cheyenne was second with 65, followed by Moapa Valley with 58 and Clark with 54.
Cheyenne’s Kamal Counts won the 100 in 11.41 and the 200 in 23.1.
Field events help Liberty boys to win
At Del Sol, Reno Tu’ufuli and Myrioni Khetaguri each won two field events, and Martin Ponce took the 400 and 3,200 to lead Liberty to an 84-62 win over the Dragons.
Tu’ufuli won the shot put (58-1) and discus (170-5), and Khetaguri was first in the long jump (19-5½) and triple jump (39-1).
Ponce won the 400 in 52.2 and the 3,200 in 10:17.2.
